A federal judge in Maryland issued a second order on Tuesday blocking President Trump from implementing his ban on transgender military service.
The preliminary injunction was granted to a group of active-duty transgender troops who sued Trump and top military officials in August. For now, it bars the Pentagon and Coast Guard from implementing or enforcing Trump’s August guidance aimed at rolling back the Obama administration’s policy of allowing open service and medical care for transgender troops.

This does need to be ignored but I would go one further. If these leftist judges are going to encroach or usurp executive authority, if I were Trump, I would return the favor. Raid their homes, plant drugs, etc...throw them in jail.

Yup. The corrupt courts like the rest of the fed govt are in #resist mode to the Trump admin. I said at the time of the first unconstitutional ‘travel ban’ edicts that the courts would eventually ‘challenge’ every decision the executive makes.
I’m sure Sessions was the POS advising Trump to appeal these decisions through the courts where they don’t belong. By doing that it has only encouraged more of this crap.

I got out of the military in 1968, so admittedly I’m a bit behind on the UCMJ, but, I thought the UCMJ was in place to take it out of the jurisdiction of the courts, and put the military (and the Commander in Chief) free to run an efficient military.
I must be way out of date on that one, but we were told at enlistment that we “just became second-class citizens”, and no longer enjoyed the total freedom of civilians.

Instead of going the circuitous route to the SCOTUS, the easier way to handle this is for quick votes in the senate and house judiciary committees that narrow the jurisdiction of the federal judiciary, to exclude cases concerning the composition of the US military, the authority of the POTUS to set immigration policy, and likely several other areas where petty federal judges have intruded in recent years.
This would send a very powerful message to these petty tyrants that they had better watch their p’s and q’s. It would also let the SCOTUS know that they had better crack down on their subordinate judges as well.
The Judiciary branch is the Supreme court. Not these inferior courts.
How about Trump state emphatically that every stay issued is suspended until the Supreme court rules in on it. Then he will abide by the Supreme court.
This is a ridiculous situation, the Judicial usurpation of Executive and legislative powers.
Trump doesn't have the authority to impeach a judge, only congress has that authority.
Just imagine people with gender derangement syndrome being allowed to carry loaded weapons. A mentally incompetent judge in a blackrobe overrules the commander in chief. How can this be? How can some blackrobed tyrant have more power over the military than the commander in chief?

Why would you want SCROTUS to rule on it? Are you saying that the one branch that is un-elected, the judiciary, gets to decide the constitutional parameters & powers of the other elected branches? To be the final arbiters? To give a green or red light to every decision the executive makes? Might as well put the judges in charge. /rolleyes
Scrotus has the power to VACATE these unconstitutional edicts of the lower courts. They haven’t.
