Roy Moore blasted by woman's lawyer: 'He knows full well' why the women kept quiet

Republican Senate candidate Roy Moore on Saturday again adamantly denied sexual misconduct allegations and promised that "revelations about the motivations" behind the news report of his alleged behavior will come out in a few days.

His Democratic opponent, Doug Jones, meanwhile said Moore needs "to answer to the people of Alabama" about the "very serious allegations."

And the lawyer for a woman who says Moore dated her when she was 18 and he was in his 30s and supplied her with alcohol before she was of legal drinking age responded later Saturday to the candidate's comments. Paula Cobia, lawyer for Gloria Deason, blasted Moore for making what she called "defamatory statements" about "4 brave women."

"He knows full well why these women did not tell what he did to them before this week," Cobia wrote in a statement posted on Facebook on Saturday. "As young teenage girls in the late 1970s in a small, rural southern town, they had no way of knowing their rights, especially against him considering that he was a district attorney at the time."

Indeed we have the same RINO’s and cowards on our side who always are quick to denounce our side, and now are trying to stop the President.

We have four women with a story to tell

One is a proven liar with a reputed history of making false claims of sexual harassment to extort monetary settlements

One is Democrat operative active in multiple Democrat political campaigns including Doug Jones current Senate campaign against the manatee is “acusing”, Roy Moore .

Despite her being on the opposing campaign, the extent of her accusations are, in her own words she was in college at the time and honorably treated by Moore and he never forced himself on her

“My mom was really, really strict and my curfew was 10:30 but she would let me stay out later with Roy,” Deason told The Post. “She just felt like I would be safe with him. …She thought he was good husband material.”

Deason and Moore dated for “several months” off and on, she said, adding that he took her to his home more than once. However, she said their physical relationship never got any further than kissing and hugging.

In anyplace other than the Democrat and Washington Post's Bizzaro World, that would be considered a ringing endorsement testimonial

The other two women's stories are very similar to Deason’s

Moore asked and received the women's parents permission to court their daughters, the women wanted to go out Moore, their moms highly approved of Moore and strongly encouraged their daughters to try to establish a relationship leading to marriage with Moore and he was a gentleman who never forced himself on them and the physical relationship never progressed past kissing.

I don't see the problem here

What "rights" does an 18 year old woman need "against" a 32 year old man who she agreed to date?

Maybe in the 1970s women were intimidated to speak about such things but it hasn’t been 1970 for decades and these women haven’t been young girls in decades. They spoke out now for political reasons and that pretty much assures they are lying. Guess money talks.

Is this “lawyer” referring to her own clients as ignorant, timid, powerless, clueless, rural, southern, female, redneck, hayseed, trailer trash, HICKS?

‘cuz it sure sounds like that to me!

I sure wouldn’t want her to be MY lawyer!

You bad boy. No governorship for you. Heck I drank a bottle of wine at 17 with a female friend that was 16 going on 20. No hanky panky. Just good friends. Guess no governorship for me either. Darn. Was so looking forward to working in government too.

In the 70’s and the 80’s 18 was the legal drinking age in NC. Was it different in Alabama?

Well back then dating didn’t automatically mean screwing. It’s hard to explain that to the hooking up generation. I believe it wasn’t sexual.

Great point. Few people today can understand what innocent dating was.

I am hoping that when Trump returns he will schedule several rallies in Alabama to stump for Moore!

KMA, accusers.

IF this REALLY happened to you, you have had over 35 years to come forward. Not ‘knowing your rights’ is the lamest story yet on this topic.

I believe Roy Moore, and I sincerely hope he is elected by a landslide & that the voters see these ‘accusations’ for what they are——an attempt to take down a good man & a fine candidate for U S Senator.

Payback might find all of you ‘ladies’.

“Prince Charles dated a teenager when he was in his 30s, and subsequently married her. I don’t recall any outrage from the Washington Post, John McCain, Mitt Romney, or anyone else.”

The founder of Mitt Romney’s religion had a harem of underage girls. Romney has not denounced that yet.

Orphan, Sarah Lawrence was 17. (Joseph Smith also had her 19-year-old sister, Mary).

16-year-old Fanny Alger (whom Smith exploited while she was a live-in house maid).

19-year-old Zina D. Hunington was not underage, but she was already married when Smith bedded her.

17-year-old Sarah Ann Whitney.

19-year-old Emily Dow Partridge- not underage but Smith bedded / “married” her when he was 37 and already had multiple wives.

16-year-old Flora Ann Woodworth. Smith was either 37 or 38 when he took this young girl.

17-year-old Lucy Walker. Another of Smith’s conquests that same year.

16-year-old Nancy Maria Winchester - yet another.

Another teen bride that year was 19-year-old Melissa Lott.

14-year-old Helen Mar Kimball. Sounds more like a Muslim than a Christian.

Nancy M. Winchester was probably also 14 when Smith “married” her.

But Romney reveres this man and despises Moore. Why is that?

Never Trumpers and drive by media radio talk hosts are having a field day ignoring the fact that all of the accusers were of the age of legal consent. Including the one claiming when 14 years old. For her accusations are the juiciest. Which they gleefully relate and dwell on in a touchy feel-ly manner as if it came off of a police report yesterday. Not as a unsubstantiated recollection from 40 years ago. Because they know these are damaging accusations which will be almost impossible to disprove.

Despite that fact that it has been uncovered that two of his accusers are working for the Pervertion Party and that their accusations are false and politically motivated the drivebys and the nevers media are not reporting this but are mentioning one accuser is a “Republican”.

Here is background on two accusers. One works for the perverts that one knows the one who claimed she was 14. But was actually 17 at the time? http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/3603606/posts

“In the 70’s and the 80’s 18 was the legal drinking age in NC. Was it different in Alabama?”

Long ago it was 21 and then it was lowered to 19 in 1970. Then the limit was raised back to 21 again (current limit) in 1986. So during the 1970s and half o the 1980s it was lower than it is today.

Because every 3 times divorced, 3 times bankrupt woman who works on multiple DemonicRat campaigns always has the money to hire lawyers (on speed dial too) to speak for them especially when no crime has been committed by or to the woman and there is no expectation of financial gain.

On the other hand, Judge Moore has been married to the same woman for 30 years and there has been no other woman who has claimed that Judge Moore assaulted her or harassed her.

Doesn’t the religion of peace allow geriatric men to marry teenagers or even younger? Why are these journalists not attacking Islam?
