One of Alabama GOP Senate candidate Roy Moore's most prominent backers pulled his support Friday evening in the wake of sexual assault allegations against the former state Supreme Court chief justice.
Sen. Mike Lee, R-Utah, posted on Twitter that "having read the detailed description of the incidents, as well as the response from Judge Moore and his campaign, I can no longer endorse his candidacy for the U.S. Senate."

Ahh... okay. Then again they are completely different subjects so it's possible for it to be used in both. Take BLM for example. Up till a couple years ago it always meant Bureau of Land Management where I live but today it commonly refers to the Black Lives Matter movement yet it still means the former as well depending on the context the BLM initials are used.
I wouldnt want him in my foxhole!
Allegations are only allegations. Due process and the right to defend oneself is the law of the land.
I guess he forgot.
Coward!
Thanks for reminding us what life was like then for returning vets and southern living.
Judge Moore is still a hero.
It would be entertaining to see him asked that question.
It would be fun to hear the hypocritical response from Mitt Romney as well.
Reagan did not formally use the term I endorse when speaking about Ford, but he clearly called for a Ford victory as soon as he took the stage.
Reagan referred to Fords running mate, Bob Dole, as the vice president to be, prompting applause from the crowd of delegates.
We must go forth from here united, determined that what a great general said a few years ago is true: There is no substitute for victory, Mr. President, Reagan said in closing.
Read this, because revisionist history does not change the fact that no they hated each other with a passion and Reagan (after you read this) was forced to the stage by Ford calling him after Reagan had told Brokaw three times he was not getting on the stage to endorse Ford

Yes I get that and after Reagans 8 years were up, Bush the Elder purged the Reaganites and did nothing to advance the Reagan Revolution. The Bushes were always Connecticut Rockefeller-Weicker Republicans. They just hid it enough under Dubya to dupe conservatives enough to see him elected twice. Anyway, back to Reagan: he never pulled a Mike Lee, not even close.
