Yes I get that and after Reagan’s 8 years were up, Bush the Elder purged the Reaganites and did nothing to advance the Reagan Revolution. The Bushes were always Connecticut Rockefeller-Weicker Republicans. They just hid it enough under Dubya to dupe conservatives enough to see him elected twice. Anyway, back to Reagan: he never pulled a Mike Lee, not even close.
