DONALD Trump has held a meeting on the growing North Korea crisis in the White House's famous "situation room" along with the US Generals, reports say.
Trump is reported to have held a briefing on North Korea at the White House along with US National Security Council.
The situation room often hosts "war councils" during times of conflict, and was famously where Barack Obama monitored the mission to kill Osama bin Laden.
Tensions between the US and North Korea have been worsening as Kim refuses to give up his quest for nuclear capable ICBMs.
Yesterday, General James Mattis warned the US Army to "stand ready" for war with North Korea and he was in today's major meeting.
However, the US have repeatedly said diplomacy is the preferred sol

What I see coming will be a complete air war which will devastate the military might of North Korea. The trigger point will be the next launch of a Nork ICBM. Our responce to that launch will be either a mid air destruction of it or a counter strike as if it was a nuclear missile attack heading for the United States.

I have a hard time believing the Donald or any loyal military man would leak this meeting to the press. It has to be the work of some traitorous political insider hack. I see nothing positive to be gained by this getting out.

Well, the invasion of Normandy was sort of secret...
The whole point here is to put the weird haircut guy on notice. And if you dont think hes a real threat...well, just go on telling yourself that. Some historians think FDR could have prevented Pearl Harbor if he had taken the Japanese rhetoric and our intelligence seriously, and brazened the Japanese back to a point where the more rational realized attacking us was not in their best interests.
Kim is nuts and I dont think his underlings have any control over him, but this threat might make him sit up and take notice.

Yes it’s important.
Important enough that people shouldn’t be talking about it.

I used the D-day metaphor as an example of telegraphing your intentions. I remember the Donald specifically saying many times he wouldn't tell the enemy what he was up to like Osucka did. This is a harmful leak which allows the enemy to maneuver both politically and militarily.
I don't like it.

The situation room often hosts "war councils" during times of conflict, and was famously where Barack Obama monitored the mission to kill Osama bin Laden. It's also where Obama opened up and read the specially sealed envelope containing the infamous pile of bullsheiss known as the Golden Showers Dossier.
