Security guard shot before concert shooting began
On Monday, Clark County Sheriff Joseph Lombardo announced a change to the sequence of events that occurred on Oct. 1, saying a security guard who encountered Paddock was actually shot at 9:59 p.m. local time, minutes before the 64-year-old unleashed a hail of gunfire on unsuspecting concertgoers.
Previously, authorities had said that the security guard, Jesus Campos, was shot after Paddock had opened fire on the crowd below.
Lombardo said Campos immediately reported to hotel security that he had been shot. However, responding officers did not know Campos had been shot until they arrived on the 32nd floor and encountered him, Lombardo said.
It's unclear what ultimately led Paddock to stop shooting at the people below. Officials had originally thought that Campos distracted him.

So these guests would hear gunfire but not massive panes of glass being shattered out with hammers? I would think the vibrations being sent to other rooms via repeated pounding/thumping on glass would be just as dramatic as the gunfire.
Do I think the current narrative of Paddock as lone wolf shooter is BULLSHIITE? Hell yes I do. The shooting stopped because the REAL shooter(s) saw SWAT coming at the FAR END OF the hallway on floor 32. SWAT went room-by-room on floor 32 in order to EVACUATE NEARBY GUESTS and I recall reading this process along with a pause (to evaluate for booby-trap) before entering Paddock's room TOOK UP TO AN HOUR. So in-between the time the shooting stopped and the time SWAT entered the room we are talking about PROBABLY AT LEAST A HALF HOUR. Early in this one hour time frame is when the REAL shooter(s) ESCAPED.
In-between the time SWAT arrived on floor 32 to clear adjacent rooms and the time they actually arrived at Paddock's room THERE WAS MORE THAN AMPLE TIME (UPWARDS OF AN HOUR) FOR THE REAL SHOOTER TO ESCAPE.
Do the elevators have escape hatches in their ceilings whereby one can access the next floor above by opening the sliding doors and walking out?? Hmmmm? If you were dressed in a security guard uniform and carrying a pistol would anyone question you if you stressed that you were looking for the rampaging shooter? PROBABLY NOT.
I think he was working under cover and was exposed:

...Prosecutors said that Al Bahnasawy also communicated with an undercover agent posing as an ISIS sympathizer about wanting to shoot up concerts cuz they kill lots of people.
Think about it. Looks like Paddock was identified as an agent by the peace-loving muzzies and the Mandalay Bay event was his death warrant. There were 59 victims.
How much are those really contradictory? By man in the street standards, $2 million dollars in real estate is rich. By rich people's standards it's only "a little rich." He drank, but wasn't a drunk. Maybe when he was younger, his family never saw him drink.
I don't think I'd say he was brilliant, but clever people often present themselves as just "regular folks." People compartmentalize: they can be wretchedly sloppy at home, but meticulous and precise when they have a task they want to perform. And how often is it the quiet and shy guys who abuse their wives and girlfriends?
What you've got are people who've seen different aspects of the guy making a judgment on the little they've seen of him. Or maybe you've got a psychopath who plays roles and manipulates people to gain their trust. He presents himself as what he thinks people want him to be so that he doesn't have to show his own face.
WTF. We are being lied to. Even his own gf can't keep her story straight, nor his brother..
Maybe. But if there was some great secret underneath all this, you'd think people would get their stories straight.
Why did he stop? Could someone have shot the man? Or was it all a set up. Starting to unpeel. It smells bad.
Your a spelling wiz, congratultions...i’m on a phone, with fat thumbs and with spell correct.
I concede your greatness.
Otherwise, everything I said holds.
Mandalay Bay => Four Seasons => Saudis bump for later...
I Was Just Going to Bed When the Shooting Started
Interesting that the guest could hear furniture moving. I would think the floors were more sound proofed.
"Q: It physically knocked you to the floor?
A: I was sitting on side of bed, and when it went off I hit the floor. I didnt know what was happening. Then I could hear people upstairs moving around, and moving things around.
Q: Could you hear them talking?
A: No, not talking. I could hear, like, glass breakage noises, crashes. Like they were moving furniture around."
The police/SWAT moved stuff around? Did they break the windows to how they are now seen in photos? Is there a possibility the shooter only made a small hole and the police expanded it?
The link merely establishes that Paddock had possession of 32-134 at the relevant instant. The noise was loud. Someone in the room above 31-134 (for those of you in Rio Linda, that would be Room 32-134) was blazing away at a crowd of 22,000.
The conspiracy jerks have made much over the LVPD's screw-up over Paddock's check-in dates.
If you can provide any evidence the Aussie rented 32-134, other than his say-so, please post it!
Soros bought puts on 1,350,000 shares of MGM to profit as the stock went down.
Agree. Need to know caliber of wound that resulted in his death.
Given they have reported Paddock had an escape plan *which may have been to dress in tactical gear and try to blend with arriving SWAT, etc., it may be possible he accidentally shot himself. Possible, maybe not probable.
The odd, awkward placement of objects in the room/death photo lend additional credence.
His lower leg under a rifle, handgun above the head, as if he attempted to gather a number of rifles and handgun and carry them but in the heat of the moment/adrenaline, he accidentally pulled a trigger?
Again, possible, but maybe not probable.
Well, I have said that.
I can point to newspaper articles published a few years ago that discuss the widespread lack of surveillance cameras in guest areas of large LV hotels.
But I guess we will have to believe you, an anonymous poster on the internet, since you have been there.
I'm guessing it is all being gone over, and they aren't revealing details during the on-going investigation. Until perhaps they reach a dead end and need the public's help. Whether we will ever get the truth, who knows.
I've been looking. I've been looking for anything official from LEO or MB that confirms just who booked 32-134, whether Paddock or Hodge.
I have not found anything. Press reports seem to just assume Paddock had both hotel rooms or else don't touch on it.
I did come across this, however: a supposed source who claimed to Laura Loomer that his girlfriend works at MB and that Paddock took connecting room 32-134 on the 28th.
If genuine, it is probably a better source than Hodge, and in that case he is just flat wrong about his room number. But still, we're going off anonymous stuff posted on a twitter feed.
If the surveillance cameras are that robust, it is very hard to understand how the LVPD could have made such a mistake on the timeline regarding the security guard.
Where's the picture of this 'door'?
I can't recall when a hotel door did NOT shut when I wanted it to stay open!
I used to work with a lot of Electrical engineers.
Weren’t NONE of them EVER gonna win a spelling bee!
Car windowS don't.
The windshield does.
Lotsa glass missing from those windows!
Where's the pictures of the fragments down on the roof/ground?
