Caleb Keeter, who performed at the Route 91 Harvest Festival, tweeted: "Ive been a proponent of the 2nd Amendment my entire life. Until the events of last night. I cannot express how wrong I was."
Josh Abbott Band guitarist Caleb Keeter took to Twitter on Monday morning to share his thoughts on gun control in the wake of the Las Vegas shooting that left more than 50 people dead and 500 injured.

In other words, it’s likely that his position never changed on the issue.
I know an old man who has been mad all of his life, because he was drafted during the Vietnam War to be a helicopter mechanic. He’s been so mad, that he always claimed that he was forced to go from his airframe and engine school to Ranger school and then to be a door gunner. [I’m very skeptical about that.]
He says that he’s against other soldiers and our national defense, because he killed a lot people. Says killing a lot of people in Vietnam made him an alcoholic and made him be mean to his wife, until he recognized the evil of military service.
Says he’s a conservative, but he’s been a Democrat. He continues in churches and other social groups to libel and shame other men with prior service.
Yeah. Sure. [Irony, sarcasm.] The truth that became evident after some research, is that his ancestry shows several generations of male feminists owned by quaking, holy roller harridans wallowing in victimology. The few of those men who did drink—mostly lifelong civilians—were alcoholics.
Characters like him make me sick. They never really became men. They’re jealous of men.
I was thinking we should nip this problem in the bud... Go right to the root of the problem and stop the breeding of all progressive liberals..!! They seem to be the ones that go off their nut and gun people down in large numbers...
So, I recommend we castrate all the snowflake, millennial types, and their offspring... Well, the ones they don't murder their selves anyway....
Is the arra around Mandalay Bay and others a GUN FREE ZONE? Someone reported it is.
It’s certainly possible that he was always pro-gun control, and found this to be the pretext he needed to come out of the closet.
Thanks. I figured him to be a hoplophobe who decided that in the wake of something like this, it was finally a good time to come out of the gun control closet (a closet that confines country music performers because of the typically conservative ideology of its fans).
The shooter was also a pilot. He could’ve flown into a crowd kamikaze style.
Ifs ands or buts
Cause we all know that nations with gun control never experience mass killings.
While he’s at it, he may as well reassess knife control, car control, van control, alcohol and drug prohibition, domestic violence control and medical error control.
That’s what happens when emotions overpower intellect....
I’m guessin’ he’s another rapper/rocker pretending to be country?
Nearly all of the gun grabbers also support open borders.
Note tagline:
I understand that feeling that’s surging through the guy, and I’m willing to temporize this sentiment.
First of all, infringing gun rights requires a constitutional amendment to do it properly.
Secondly, if we must have gun control, it should be a state power, not federal.
Thirdly, guns with clips [magazines] which allow such fast reloads, and if they are converted from semi-automatic, they overheat. Therefore, if there MUST be gun control, it is a severe overreach for this event to trigger limiting too much — one clip-loaded semi automatic rifle per citizen would not make this kind of mass murder very likely.
Fourthly, without secure borders, machineguns can be smuggled across th border. So, SAFE BORDERS FIRST. [Note tagline.]
Thirdly, if there absolutely must be

While I understand why you said the things you did, I am not on board more gun control. If the laws we have didn’t prevent this, NOTHING EVER WILL.
As for states coming up with their own laws to infringe on our 2nd Amendment rights, why is it they can do that, but if they come up with some law that modifies racial rights, it would be ruled unConstitutional?
The U. S. Constitution is there for a reason. It assures every citizen certain rights, over and above what the government can deny them.
States should not be given the right to supersede the U. S. Constitution.
I assumed when they said they were “illegal”, there was something illegal about them. Of course, one should never do that. My bad.
Dumb wuss.
He was too afraid to go for his gun therefore it was “useless”. The gun was fine buddy, it’s you that’s useless.
An aside, the shooter reportedly was looking to hit other concerts first, a homage to what happened in England? But the FBI insists he wasn’t ISIS.
“The gun was fine buddy, its you thats useless.”
PREACH!!!
