You’re addressing 330 million people. The right words scatter like roaches when the lights come on.
That being said, I thought President Trump’s words were the right ones. They touched on the appropriate things, and addressed the proper take-aways from all this.
He was reassuring, and expressed the nation’s collective sorrow for what took place (ignoring Leftists already exhibiting the types of mind-sets that make this type of an even more likely, while trashing Trump in some manner for making events like this more likely)
Sometimes being president is not easy task.
Trump has North Korea, Iran, Puerto Rico, tax legislation, the Leftists with their media attacking him, and a planned Asain trip within weeks. That’s all.
I have to take out the trash and pay a few bills.

The President had the perfect tone. The God parts were perfect. Too bad none of the media will let the American people hear the whole statement.
They’ll probably keep the most relevant facts sealed up tight, as was done with the Joker Boy and Newtown Martian cases. Such policies add to general public distrust.
