Racial slurs written on dorm room boards of black Air Force Academy cadet candidates

Racial slurs were written on the dormitory message boards of five black cadet candidates at the Air Force Academy Preparatory School earlier this week.

Lt. Col. Allen Herritage, director of public affairs for the academy, said the slurs were discovered Monday. One cadet candidate’s mother posted a photo on her Facebook page Wednesday that shows the words “go home n*****r” written on the white board outside her son’s room. “This is why I'm so hurt!” the mother said in her post, which was at first public but then taken offline Thursday. “These young people are supposed to bond and protect each other and the country. Who would my son have to watch out for? The enemy or the enemy?”

In an interview with Air Force Times, that cadet candidate’s father said his son is doing fine in the wake of the racial slur incident, which he called “utter stupidity.”

The big question is "who wrote it?".

There were several other instances, where it turned out that the black people whose car was defaced with similar graffiti wrote those themselves.

Ok. At 49, the yoots in my family consider me to be as racist as they come, yet I use no slurs, state facts... welfare rates, etc and never speak in a hateful tone.

So THEY’RE “more tolerant” than me and I would NEVER write this stuff anywhere.

So what 100 year old racist is writing this on the walls at the air force rooms?

I'm going to guess that the people investigating this knew right away that this was a hoax. The "Sincerely, Donald Trump" line underneath the message probably gave it away.

My first guess is the parents wrote it on the chalkboard just before snapping the picture and probably erased it immediately thereafter. The honor of an Air Force Academy cadet is above reproach 999 out of 1000 times. I don't believe the cadet or any of the cadet's peers would have done this. I actually feel bad for all the cadets who will be turned upside down in the wake of the internal investigation. If snowflake parents did this ... their petty little brains didn't see the big picture effects of their stupidity, not only for their son, but for all whom their son calls friend.
