Chanting pro-immigrant slogans — “All of us or none of us,” “Democrats deport” and “We are not a bargaining chip” — more than 60 young people overwhelmed a Monday news conference that House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi had organized on her home turf in San Francisco to urge passage of the DREAM Act to protect immigrants who were brought to the country as children.
After nearly an hour of boisterous chanting from the group, which called itself “Undocumented Youth,” Pelosi and fellow House Democrats Barbara Lee of Oakland and Jared Huffman of San Rafael packed up and left the carefully orchestrated event.
Among the dozens of people leading the disruption was Luis Angel. He called on Pelosi to fight for a “clean bill” that doesn’t make concessions to the Trump administration and includes a path to citizenship for the roughly 11 million immigrants who are in the U.S., without legal status.
“Where were you when we asked to defend our parents?” the group chanted in a call-and-response led by Angel. “And now you tell us — you have the audacity to tell us — you have been fighting deportation. You are a liar! You are a liar! You are a liar!”

I’m OK with none of them. We don’t need more laborers in this country. We need to spend money training the low-skilled Americans we already have who speak English. We can get that money by deporting every illegal for as long as it takes and as long as they keep showing up. We also need to levy huge fines on anyone who hires them, even if its just to drag yard waste to the curb. Make Americans afraid to hire someone who speaks with a Spanish accent and does not present impeccable papers.

This is Trump’s doing. He revoked Obama’s unconstitutional DACA and told congress to fix it. The GOP is waking up with cold sweats every night because their entire MO is Do Nothing. Now they are on the line to Do Something, and it’s killing them. Plus they have a choice: enrage illegals and their Globalist Masters, or alienate their base. (I.e.: if they try to craft a restrictive measure illegals and globalists will freak out, but anything not restrictive to a draconian degree will infuriate their base.)
The Dems are in far worse shape. They must either push a bill that gives everyone amnesty, allows unlimited chain migration, and grants special privileges to illegals, or face wrath the likes of which they have never seen. It’s truly no-win for them.
Shortsighted people claim Trump sold out. In fact, he he handed out exploding cigars to the entire congress, and lit them up.
