Members of the Cornell University Student Assembly (SA) are calling for repercussions against a fraternity after one of its members was heard chanting build a wall.
According to The Cornell Daily Sun, the SA held a meeting Thursday attended by Cornell President Martha Pollack and Vice President for Student and Campus Life Ryan Lombardi, during which several SA members agreed that consequences needed to be enacted for verbal marginalization.

Think of it ironically.
What about hate speech using only body language?
They take longer to finish school, their "*-studies" classes can be taught by idiots (they can't tell the difference), and their money spends just as good as anybody's.
From the POV of the universities, what's not to like?
I agree. There should be repercussions for hate speech.
Conservative groups should bet the living “S” out of folks like you for being such haters, and spewing such hate speech.
Do only lunatics go to college (and administer them)?
Makes you wonder doesn’t it.
With 90+ percent of the faculty Leftists, the schools feed off each other, the faculty and students. The students graduate having been completely brainwashed with no possible dissent. Then the universities hire from these same student graduates who were forbidden to speak out and ask questions for the duration. To do so would have been a micro/maxi aggression.
Generation after generation these people in their closed society, go more and more bonkers. They speak of things as if they are settled science. No, they just don’t allow anyone to speak who points out that it really isn’t settled science.
These are propaganda/reeducation centers. That’s all.
How much money do these kids have? They can afford million dollar law suits.
Remeber when Ivy League colleges were institutions of higher learning?
Easy, EXPEL the Whiners!!
They should say they'll take their "verbal marginalization" and shove it up the overly expanded rectum of the student council president
They make great guns there don’t they? Or did?
Havent made guns there in years if not decades
If Hillary had been elected, how long before construction on the re-education camps would begin...or on the gulags?
It’s about time we heard from the core of the City of Evil. What;s the matter with kids today? They’re losing their righteous indignation.
My dad had an Ithaca 12-gauge double-barrel. P***** me off when he sold it for a hundred bucks. I grew up hunting with that gun.
Verbal marginalization???
Man, the hoops these snowflakes will jump through to define something offensive...
‘What about hate speech using only body language?’
like a mime...? that would make a great story; ‘mime arrested for hate speech’...hope it happens...
perhaps the chancellor of the school could have a little speechifying where he defines the principal American credo: free speech
No, not necessarily like a mime, but more like the kind of body language that people supposedly use unwittingly. The interpreters of such body language may believe that they have their end of it down to a science, but no, it’s one of those inexact sciences that have somehow been elevated. I would be interested in knowing how to use body language that really gets the message across without there being any doubt as to what I’d be saying. However, only a crazy person would believe that a ‘message’ was sent and that it deserves a retaliatory verbal or physical response of some kind. Now that I think of it, all I’d have to do is look at somebody cross-eyed and they’d be offended.
