Members of the Cornell University Student Assembly (SA) are calling for “repercussions” against a fraternity after one of its members was heard chanting “build a wall.”
According to The Cornell Daily Sun, the SA held a meeting Thursday attended by Cornell President Martha Pollack and Vice President for Student and Campus Life Ryan Lombardi, during which several SA members agreed that consequences needed to be enacted for “verbal marginalization.”

A source who wishes to remain confidential, however, told Campus Reform that the student responsible for the chant is actually Hispanic, and was just “joking around and making fun of [President] Trump.
Another one of those fake "hate" crimes.
Why should anyone be held accountable for someone else “hating” what they say?
No one is responsible for anyone else’s stupid, irrational reaction to anything, especially words.

The Cornell SA’s hate speech against Republicans will, of course, be exempt.
Well, it’s nice they call themselves the SA. The SA was a kinder, gentler German outfit than the SS.
And I guess they define what is hate speech.

Was that meant to be sarcasm? From my reading, the Sturmabteilung was the base on which the Schutzstaffel was built. The SA were the common thugs, the bully boys which gave rise to the Nazis. The SA were the ones involved in Kristallnacht and the Nazi atrocities from 1920 until the Night of the Long Knives in 1934 when Roehm and his subordinate degenerates were destroyed and the SA brought into line under the SS.
Not much of a difference: like being beaten to death with a club as opposed to stabbed with a dagger.

I'm sure the real issue is that the fraternity house has a garden, and the deer are destroying it, and having a wall would help keep the deer away from their veggies.
Sure, celebrate their free speech, punish the complainers for attempting to deny free speech to their classmates.
