I wish I wasnt the one to bring this tragedy to these vaulted pages amidst the litany of bad news weve huddled together against. Im only the messenger of this giants downfall, who no doubt touched us all.
Rapper Shawty Lo has died in a car accident in Atlanta. The 40-year-old rapper, born Carlos Walker, was ejected from his vehicle after he crashed into two trees on his way home from an Atlanta strip club. Walker leaves behind 11 children from 10 different mothers. He made headlines in 2013 when the television network Oxygen announced a special about the rapper and his blended family, called "All My Babies Mamas." ...

Doesn’t at all sound a very good role model. And they made an IDOL out of him. Glad he won’t be writing any more music.

Oh yeah, and after leaving a strip club and not wearing his seat belt.
Buh-bye!

Glad he wont be writing any more music.I'm pretty sure whatever he was writing before he departed for the afterlife could never be called "music"...

I think this happened last year, 21 September 2016. For those who aren't aware of this cultural icon:
Shawty Lo is best known for his song, Dey Know, as well as being a member of Atlanta rap group D4L, which had a hit with "Laffy Taffy."
Yep. The guy behind "Laffy Taffy" has passed on. They must have felt this way when Beethoven died.

At least 21 more welfare recipients; 11 kids and 10 mamas. At least none of the kids were killed in the womb. I’m afraid that Shawty Lo’s eternity does not look so bright.

Well, at least he will leave behind an estate that can pay for all those kids. I assume he wasn't wearing a seat belt, since the article says he was ejected from the car. RIP.

I can't tell. This VERY MUCH seems like some kind of fictional satire.
If this is for real, we're screwed, tight...

to bring this tragedy to these vaulted pages I do not think that word means what you think it means. Perhaps a marriage of vaunted and exalted?

He's a fairly well known rapper who should leave behind a sizable estate. I doubt any of his children will need welfare.

He wasn’t really “born Carlos Walker.” He was born “Baby Boy Walker,” and named “Carlos” at least a few hours later, when a Vital Stats functionary came by with the papers.
I realize this is nitpicky, but my second daughter was “born Martha Elizabeth,” but she became “Eleanor Grace” a few minutes later, when my husband said, “I did NOT agree to name her Martha!”
“Fine. Be that way. What else was on the short list?”
“Sophia.”
“Overused. What else?”
“Eleanor.”
“Fine ... continues the ‘Empresses’ theme. (Older sister is Josephine.) Middle name?”
“Something short.”
“Faith.”
“Nah.”
“Grace.”
“Okay.”
