I didn’t know they made white people that stupid.

I’m thinking this is suicide by cop. How stupid does one have to be to not simply follow the cop’s orders when you have a visible gun.
The cop was very professional; including the cussing so the perps knew he meant business.
If you are transporting a person suffering a imminent medical emergency, hit your emergency blinkers, and do not stop for any reason other than traffic lights until you reach the ER. If there is a passenger in the car with a cell phone, have them call 911 and request escort to the ER. Do not expect much from this - they will probably tell you to pull over and wait for an ambulance.
Expect to be arrested afterwards. Do not argue, or say much of anything until you can talk to your lawyer.
If you do stop, the officer will hold you right there and call for an ambulance to transport the patient. This is policy in most departments. If you argue about this, you will be arrested on the spot.
Of course, your patient may die while you are waiting - else why are you transporting them yourself. This is not the officer's problem.
This kind of incident happens a couple of times every year.
It is your call.
>>Because it seems that’s what the guy did.
And dead men tell no tales.
The sister in the drivers seat knew her brother was going to be stupid and wanted to get out of the line of fire. Smart sister.
It’s obvious this young white guy was well down the wrong road. Probably on all kinds of drugs while awake when he could get his hands on them. He took the cowards way out by committing suicide by cop. As someone else said; it’s not fair to the cop but it is what it is.
The perp is in a better place now and at peace and the world is better off; including his family IMHO.

You must not get out much...
My kid had to fire one of his employees the other day...
Guy took a punch at him, he cold cocked him threw the office door...
The idiot was a full six inches shorter and 30 lbs lighter...
Conflicting commands occur quite often in these events.
That was a very poignant and emotional post. And that was a great movie with a lot of great lines. And yeah we do all have it coming...
Excellent post.

I know. But from my military training, I know that you keep issuing the same critical command until it is followed, then move to the next command. I expect more from “professional” armed government enforcers.
Everyone should have at least one friend on their local police force that they can send this to. I did.
The dumber a person is the more times they have to be told.
This car was full of idiots.
You are 100% correct! Once you make the decision to transport someone because of a life threatening situation. Keep moving. But be prepared to drag the person from your car into the emergency room when you get there. We have had people die from heart attacks etc. when we were called to transport from from the parking lot or even a doctor's office at the hospital to the emergency room of the same hospital.
Amen. PTSD is real.
