FBI says lack of public interest in Hillary emails justifies withholding documents
The Washington Times ^ | 8-29-17 | Steven Dinan

Hillary Clinton’s case isn’t interesting enough to the public to justify releasing the FBI’s files on her, the bureau said this week in rejecting an open-records request by a lawyer seeking to have the former secretary of state punished for perjury.

Ty Clevenger, the lawyer, has been trying to get Mrs. Clinton and her personal lawyers disbarred for their handling of her official emails during her time as secretary of state. He’s met with resistance among lawyers, and now his request for information from the FBI’s files has been shot down.

“You have not sufficiently demonstrated that the public’s interest in disclosure outweighs personal privacy interests of the subject,” FBI records management section chief David M. Hardy told Mr. Clevenger in a letter Monday.

“It is incumbent upon the requester to provide documentation regarding the public’s interest in the operations and activities of the government before records can be processed pursuant to the FOIA,” Mr. Hardy wrote.

Mrs. Clinton, is the 2016 Democratic presidential nominee, former chief diplomat, former U.S. senator, and former first lady of both the U.S. and Arkansas. Her use of a secret email account to conduct government business while leading the State Department was front-page news for much of 2015 and 2016, and was so striking that the then-FBI director broke with procedure and made both a public statement and appearances before Congress to talk about the bureau’s probe.

In the end, the FBI didn’t recommend charges against Mrs. Clinton, concluding that while she risked national security, she was too technologically inept to know the dangers she was running, so no case could be made against her.

The FBI says it will only release records from its files if a subject consents, is dead, or is of such public interest that it overrides privacy concerns.

It appears the entire secret state organization may be controlled by Obama operatives. They need to be pried from their positions by any means necessary.

Flood DOJ with emails saying we are interested, and to order the FBI to release the FOIA requested documents immediately if not sooner!!!

Bears repeating!

If the FBI believes accountability to the rule of law is determined by public interest, TRUMP HAS A LOT OF FIRING TO DO.

If FBI director Wray doesn't REVERSE THIS NONSENSE, he should be IMMEDIATELY FIRED BY TRUMP.

I believe Obama/Jarrett is running a DEEP STATE BLACKMAIL OPERATION from his brick-mortified mansion.

Sessions needs to get a SEARCH WARRANT on Obama's residence for a swift 'pre-dawn' RAID, PRONTO!

Trump’s downfall will be his failure to nominate competent loyalists to the key posts in his Administration. He may survive the onslaught and, if the Dems continue to embrace the radical left, he may even win re-election in 2020. But he will never drain the swamp unless he has like minded people in charge of every Department who are willing to go after the corruption and treason, and who refuse to give a free pass to Uniparty running DC. Sessions seems to be a decent, well intentioned man who simply doesn’t have the stomach to rip the lid off the Washington cesspool and take down his former “colleagues”.

Lack of public interest?

Words fail. If that's a litmus test for investigation and prosecution,we are screwed and DC will never change. The rule of law according to the FBI is applied by a public interest poll, intent and political party. Just when we think the FBI could not entrench further into Deep State Swamp it proves that it is miles deep. The USA is being partially run by the Kenyan shadow government with the Iranian Lizard Jarret, Cankles Clinton and Nazi Soros.

Did you know that evidenciary procedures, FOIA-requests, and prosecutions are now dependent upon public interest?

Further, did you know said public interest is decided by the group holding documents and tasked with prosecution?

First, we beat the Soviet Union. Then, we became them.

When will a Zeroista or Clintonista be charged with anything?

Jeff Sessions is certainly not fulfilling my expectations.

The problem is that Trump has too much to do. He can’t possibly do it all at once,I still say give the guy time.
I believe in him and am pretty sure he wants the same things we want.

The FBI isn’t talking about the public being uninterested.

They are saying that the benefit to the public gained by releasing all the documents is outweighed by the privacy concerns of Hellary and associates.

Ridiculous yes, outlandish, and likely evil at the core of it...but they are not saying the public doesn’t care enough.
