What Caused Life to Come Into Existence?
PJ Media ^ | August 25, 2017 | Edward Watson

It has become axiomatic that life naturally evolved out of nonliving materials billions of years ago. Given enough time and the chemical opportunity, living cells self-assemble.

However, the experts on the development of complex molecules from simpler ones, the synthetic chemists, do not know how this process actually occurs. There are no known pathways to create the components that make up a living cell from nonliving matter. They have no idea how amino acids (the building blocks of proteins and enzymes), nucleotides (the building blocks of DNA and RNA), saccharides (also called carbohydrates or sugars, the scaffolding for DNA and RNA, energy sources, and much more), and lipids (the main constituents of cell membranes) can be formed naturally on a prebiotic earth, especially before the formation of biological enzymes, to catalyze many of the requisite chemical reactions.

Life arising naturally out of nonliving materials not only cannot be proven, it contradicts synthetic chemistry’s practices, which comprise of very strict purity and environmental controls as well as experimental and sequential methodology—the exact opposite of what happens in nature—because contamination, water, sunlight, oxygen, heat, and impurities all degrade complex molecules or prevent them from forming.

Thank you for posting this. It’s going to help me when I do a faith and science presentation to high school students in a few weeks.

I think that is exactly right.

And you can see it any time “new evidence” is found which upsets some timeline or some supposed pathway of descent. The Evolutionists don’t miss a beat. No need to question the theory. Their conclusion comes first and it is inviolable. They simply massage the data on hand so that it tells the story they want it to tell. And that story is always: There is no God.

That's the same fallacy as "Given enough time and 100 chimpanzees with 100 typewriters will produce the plays of Shakespeare."........

Yet the closer they look the more they realize that there is no way to get the chimps to type on a molecular level. Instead of typing they eat the paper and bash the typewriters. Therefore, no Shakespeare ever.

“What Caused Life to Come Into Existence?”

Not “WHAT”, but “Who”. His Name is Jesus, the Christ (Annointed One), God the Son, the Second Person of the Holy Trinity. According to Apostle John, Chapter 1, verses 2 & 3, “All things were made by Him, and without Him was not ANYTHING made that was made. (Emphasis mine).

The difficulty of the required sequence of chemical reactions was very well addressed in Johnjoe McFadden’s book, QUANTUM EVOLUTION: How Physics’ Weirdest Theory Explains Life’s Biggest Mystery.

I recall the statement from an engineer who if given the the chance to talk to God wanted to ask: Please explain turbulent flow?

Semantically true.....but....

If all of our knowledge cannot account for life to start without preexistent life, but is something that goes on daily in reproductive bio systems,is it possible to allow a creative being to start it?

Should we be surprised if life was created? Why can’t a creator be a part of reality? Why is a creator ruled out...(unless it is some super alien civilation)?

Should we systemically and vehemently attack and ostracize those scientists who believe that life was created?

Increases in complexity and order violates the 2nd Law of Thermodynamics. The pitch is that a simple single cell organism emerged out of the ooze. But when you look inside a single cell you see a very complex systems of systems that all must work in harmony to create and sustain life.

I have always said: A really smart scientist is one who tries to figure out how God did it. The end game may be elusive, but many profound discoveries will be obtained along the way.

Why settle for kicking the can down the road, when with a small nudge it's conveniently sent (outta' sight outta' mind? --out of reach, anyhow) across the galaxy?

Doctor Ph.D (piled high and deeper) fix-it to the rescue. Theory is now again safe. Just don't say the word 'God'. It has been decided. The word is not scientific, so must be a priori excluded. We must be kept safe from goat-herder mentality ideologies. They are ba-aad, m'kay? It's been scientifically proven.

But don't say anything bad about Islam(!) -- we're inclusive, and "sensitive" to people's "feelings" around here at the You-nye-diversity. Tearing down white-man Western Civ is still ok. It's the best thing to do --it's our reason for being-- we simply must --- It's the moral thing to do and WE decide what is and what is not moral. We are good. Believing in God is bad.

There's never been worse oppressor than the white male. Evil they are. Slaves built the you-nye-Die-versity. But not we-uns are bad, even if we be "white", because we hate ourselves so are excused (almost) as long as we keep hating ourselves...(unless we be wymens -- in that case it's ok to hate everybody except wymens because all men are rapists).

How can we keep doing this without becoming insane, you ask?

Yes We Can!

We've proved it. All the right people agree (that we're not crazy). But your stupid goat-herder god is stupid. Islam is ok though. Muslims, They are peaceful people but just look what happens to ya' if you believe in the goat-herder's "god"!!! we silently pity them -- they can't help it, they were born that way -- we must keep on putting ourselves down because that's the only way to lift others up We are the only sane people because science has proven it...

...

First, we are still gaining knowledge.

If evolution was guided, I’d say it was was guided to a very small degree. Most of it appears to be natural.
