CNN posted a map on August 17 showing the location of approximately 1,500 Confederate monuments and/or official symbols in the U.S.
The map will, no-doubt, serve as a hit-list for the frenzied Workers World Party members and others seeking the removal and destruction of Confederate statues in city after city across America.
CNN reports, “Roughly 1,500 Confederate symbols still exist on public land more than 150 years after the conclusion of the Civil War.” It explains that 718 of the Confederate symbols are “monuments and statutes.”

Some thoughts on the strategery of this:
Let it play out.
Let the Democrats support the “Whiteout” movement while they are trying to woo white blue collar voters.
When an enemy is destroying itself, do not interfere.
Once the Democrats are recognized as the radical fringe party that they are, the statues can be rebuilt.
The important part of this is letting the Left marginalize itself.

When the southern monuments are all gone the founders monuments will follow and the Union monuments, too. What is going on is the eradication of the physical signs that there is a History that extends back beyond the Progressive Age. That is a hindrance to the imposition of Utopia.

are there lists of the individual statues in each state...we have a small statue to the local Confederate soldiers in our town...

The Archives will be purged, the internet sanitized and largely shut down with all communication routed through Party moderators and referees and every other vestige of History will be hunted down and eradicated. I am being hyperbolic but the course of these processes is itself hyperbolic. Cambodia is the starkest example but North Korea is close behind. China and Russia were just as bad but the destruction and death were veiled and known by all but a few as simply interesting data in books.

Don’t be so sure....private property may be the next thing these anarchists go for. Didn’t they already destroy private property (storefronts, etc., after the Beserkeley violent mayhem), with NO consequences?
