A black Virginia man is speaking out after he says he was viciously attacked and beaten by white supremacists inside a Charlottesville parking garage during violent protests Saturday. Deandre Harris, 20, said he traveled to Emancipation Park to protest a white nationalist rally when a fight broke out. He said he was chased by a group of white men and beaten with metal poles as he lay helpless on the ground. Video posted by journalist Chuck Modiano, shared by Mr. Harris, showed a group of white men throwing objects at a black man on the ground and hitting him with sticks. Mr. Modiano said the man was “safe but bloody” following the incident.

Find the YouTube video of the events that preceded this. There was a melee on the street that spilled into the parking garage.
This dude may have been an "innocent bystander" -- meaning he may not have actually attacked anyone himself. But he was in a group of bat-wielding thugs who attacked an old man with a Confederate flag, and then got beaten down themselves by other demonstrators who came to the guy's defense.

Dunno about “hoax.” The black guy attacked some folks with a club, some passersby saw it and came to the rescue. The black guy got what was coming to him.

There seems to be video of this one so there is probably some truth to it. But how many of the Unite the Right people also got beaten and nobody filmed that?
