Find the YouTube video of the events that preceded this. There was a melee on the street that spilled into the parking garage.
This dude may have been an "innocent bystander" -- meaning he may not have actually attacked anyone himself. But he was in a group of bat-wielding thugs who attacked an old man with a Confederate flag, and then got beaten down themselves by other demonstrators who came to the guy's defense.
