A former Union County middle school gym teacher was arrested Monday for a sexual relationship with a 15-year-old student, the Georgia Bureau of Investigation said Monday.
Shawnetta D. Reece, 40, of Blairsville, was sexually involved with the student in 2013, the agency said in a news release.
Reece was arrested after the Union County Sheriff’s Office received information on the alleged relationship, and asked the GBI to assist with the investigation.
"The student was moving from the 8th grade into the 9th grade during this time," the news release stated. "As a result of the investigation, Reece has been arrested for child molestation and sexual assault by persons with supervisory or disciplinary authority."

Virtually all of the female teachers arrested for messing around with students are significantly above average in attractiveness, especially when often the first photos we see of them are their mugshots, yet they still look very good! My theory is that they were the hottest girls in town when they were in high school, and fifteen or twenty years later, they are trying to recapture their lost youth by having affairs with teenage boys.
An 8th grade little boy? Really? Only a certified pedophile would find that attractive. Sheesh.

Age 40? As horny as she’ll ever be. She needs QUANTITY. A teenager can provide just that but you’d think that if she’s giving it away she could pick and choose an 18 year old-legal. In not so ancient times a 15 year old boy was considered a man and would often be starting a family. Our system of coddling the youth into their 20s is insane.
