An elderly couple died holding hands surrounded by loved ones in a rare double euthanasia....
...The geriatrician determined that our mother was still mentally competent. However, if our father were to die, she could become completely disoriented, ending up in a nursing home.

The purpose of the article is to glorify it, and to make everyone accept it. Better accept it, because NHS is going to make it compulsory for all Whites/Christians, to make way for their new masters.
Oh im sorry... yeah been there.. it sucks for sure...
hard to watch someone you love so much become nothing like they were before...
my GF got lung cancer... im so glad i saw him when he was still pretty mobile and NOT at the end, mom did that :(
I,personally,am hoping that my family won't toss my remains on the side of the highway.A simple service...a simple casket...a simple headstone is what I hope for.And an occasional visitor (for years I've made it a point to visit family graves periodically).
My parents are buried at Arlington...the headstones are very simple affairs...good enough for them, good enough for me.

We have a highway out front, and a good-size river out back...my wife has a choice. :-)
“That’s the sticky wicket. Who’s really making the decision here? Who is really signing the euthanasia documents?”
Exactly!
I have POA for financial and medical issues concerning my Dad. I’m all he has left in this world. HOWEVER, The State of Wisconsin has to declare him incompetent before any of that kicks in.
I wonder if there are those safeguards in the UK? Probably not. Socialists love any reason to off someone. Grrrr!
I have never seen the casket department at Wal-Mart. Is it located between camping gear and toys? JK
Being buried at Arlington is obviously a huge honor...one which *I* certainly haven't earned. The photos I've seen of military cemeteries feature simple, yet very tasteful and respectful,headstones...and that's as it should be.
More money to the kids. Don’t have to pay that rascally nursing home big fees for the next few years

Have known for a long time the euthanasia train would be picking up speed. Expect the slow freight to become a high speed rail system soon. The hard part was convincing people that killing the unborn was a “good” thing. Lives ahead of them, plenty of potential, innocent but snuffed out before birth.
Way easier to convince people to allow or encourage the hastening of death of mom or dad. Mom has no clue who we are, we have to feed and change her and by the way she has a house and money in savings, and this care for her is eating up ALL that. Plus mom back in the 80’s aborted two or three of our siblings so “the circle of life” Hakuna Matata. Love ya , miss ya, mean it.
As for the decisions you make I make no comment but the roadway for the train tracks was surveyed long ago. By the way before the “boomers deserve it” crew chimes in recall that no one on the Supreme Court in 1973 was a “baby boomer”
LOL! Seriously, I believe they are only sold ‘on line’. Shame...it would be hysterical to go thru the check-out with one.
I want simple text...name, check-in and check-out dates, and this tagline: ‘Died Eating Tasty Food’.
Ya know, bull$hit. Nobody’s deepest wish is to die, together or separately. Their deepest wish was to live another hundred years in good health, together. Couldn’t have the wish, so decided to end it.
The Dutch have turned out to be very cold blooded people. If the daughter was that worried that her mother would “become disoriented” and such in a “nursing home”, why would she not take her mother into her OWN home upon her father’s demise? Plenty of my friends do that. No nursing homes for their parents.
My son wants to grind me up...Feed me to the trout in the Smokies...
He says I ate enough of them in my life...It’s their turn now...LOL
In Britain's NHS, what are the odds the homes' nursesand doctorswould all be Muslims?
i agree with you. they had a great life
Being fearful of not having met my Creator's expectations of me I wouldn't be as cheeky as you.If anything was written on my headstone I'd hope it was "Lord,Have Mercy" or "honestly strived to lead a decent life"
Beautiful story..../S
