Joy Reid doesn’t brook much dissent on her own MSNBC show, regularly shutting down, as here, here and here, conservatives who have the temerity to disagree with her. Fortunately, when Rich Lowry of the National Review took on the Reid this morning, it happened on Meet the Press, where Reid was a fellow panelist rather than host.
The topic was the violence between neo-Nazi/white nationalists and Antifa, in which numerous people were injured and one woman killed. President Trump has come under withering media and political attack for a statement condemning violence “on many sides.”
Lowry made the point that the so-called “anti-fascists” in Charlottesville also engaged in violence, and the violence was not one-sided, as the videos show. Reid refused to admit that there was violence on both sides, claiming “there was certainly not.”

I watched videos and stills of Charlottesville and one thing stands out to me. The so-called white supremacists/skinheads are unlike any I’ve seen before.
They all appear to be military-age males, pretty fir & trim. It’s almost like some contractor provided them. They’re walking down the street at route march.
When was the last time skinheads could get organized enough for a tiki torch parade.
This smells to high heaven. I’d say definitely false flag.
So, Rich, I don’t believe there are ‘two’ sides. It’s a one and made for event by the likes of Soros.

To me it seemed that McCauliff was speaking from a well-prepared script as if he had been an attendee at Soros’ planning meetings when the violence was coordinated. His outrage was too scripted and insincere. He needs to take some acting classes before the next time.
She sees it, but if she doubles down and doesn’t admit she sees it, it is the same as if it never happened to the MSM.

Can’t vouch for the veracity but the story I am hearing emerge on 4chan is that there was a parking garage a block or so away where the “Unite the Righters” were trying to get out to go home and they were being harassed by the Antifa crowd as they were leaving the parking garage. The story suggests that the driver (Fields) may have been one of those folks and was attacked by Antifa as he was leaving the parking garage. So, if true, the guy may have been attacked by Antifa a block earlier and was just panicked and trying to get away. Again, I don’t know if any of it is true but it is an emerging story.
I still can’t bring myself to believe the guy in the photos driving is the same guy in the mugshot. I did hear that Richard Spencer is going back to C’ville for a press conference today. It will be interesting to hear what he has to say but I can imagine he will be making accusation against the police and Antifa. I confess to watching Fox for 2 minutes just now and that for the last time. Fox will never be on my TV again if I have to take a sledge hammer to it.

I am reminded of Ann Coulter’s response when Liberals defending the actions of other Liberals say, it happens on both sides. Ann looks at them and says, really (?), name one from my side.
Like I say, I lurk at 4chan a lot. A big theme for them is to “clean your room, get fit, find a nice white girl, make lots of babies”. They, at least, realize they are in a race war and have a winning strategy.
When video comes out, Soros’ false flag will be blown to hell. This will backfire like a mf on McCauliffe, and possibly turn VA back red.

The police and the city or university are at fault at these rallies for not keeping things under control and keeping opposite views separated. It should be safe for both Antifa and the Klan to demonstrate. if not, don’t issue a permit to the second applicant and arrest the side that has none. But letting people face off in the street and yell and throw things at each other is a formula for tragedy.
the city had an obligation to establish adequate safety when they issue a permit or know a large crowd is coming to the city. laving the street open and letting people throw things at each other and yell from opposite sides of a narrow street is not adequate safety and this and other incidents prove it. So the city IS responsible to prevent such incidents. Any rookie cop would know that people have been driving crowds into cars all over the world and here in the states.
None of the precludes a jury from finding the driver guilty. but the officials are also culpable and the DOJ or state AG should be all over that investigation . In Cal when coulter was scheduled,the chancellor of UC should have been sent to jail along with the campus police chief or the Berkeley chief for failure to protect the public and the property of the university and the first amendment rights of the group that invited her and of course Ann herself. But the governor of Cal was too busy raising taxes and hugging trees.

But let’s not forget to mention NeverTrumpers and their role in the mainstream media’s willful distortions.
They lend credibility to negative stories about Pres. Trump by agreeing with the media critics, they give the lies reach among republicans, moderates, conservative democrats and non-voting consumers of news. After all, members of the presidents own party agree with them, so it must be reasoned that the stories are true and believable.
NeverTrump is a destructive force within the political right. I have no respect for the more hard core among them and I pity the rest as being tragically mistaken.

You’re mistaken. Neo-nazi type groups have probably had a 100,000% increase in membership in the last five years, all from young men. Young white American men are at a breaking point. They are not going to take political correctness and multi-cultualism one second longer. If responsible people don’t step up now and start organizing to do things like defend Confederate monuments, neo-nazis will fill the void and continue to grow rapidly.
Most older conservatives are clueless and out of touch about what’s going on out in society.
This is long term result of the repeated conservative sell outs of the last 25 years. We see the people here on FR who are obsessed with end times prophecies, but won’t fight against the loss of free speech rights in the here and now. Those people are the problem.

Just like the Rodney King video, where the media purposely edited out the parts that showed King attacking the police, in order to promote a racist white cops/black victim narrative that instigated the LA race riots and the lynching of 50 innocent people and the violent assaults of many more.
Here is an alternate view not being shown by the MSM, that shows the car from the rear just before it backed up to get out of there.
Something was happening to the car and driver that the MSM doesn’t want the public to see. Like the car being swarmed and attacked by violent Leftist protestors using aluminum baseball bats (deadly weapons) to get to the driver, and likely beat him to death, if he had given them the opportunity. Instead he apparently chose to leave and save himself.

The media’s crowd of “peaceful counter-protestors” didn’t know if he used his car as a weapon or not. The driver could have suffered a medical condition, been elderly, had a heart attack, accidentally hit the gas instead of the break. The car may had an electrical/computer/mechanical malfunction that caused the car to speed up and frustrate all the driver’s attempts to stop it. All these scenarios have happened before. Or he may have been attacked down the road out of camera view, and panicked trying to get away. Peaceful people would have tried to find out.
But the media’s “peaceful counter-protestors” didn’t try to find out; they came armed with deadly weapons, and chose to use them instead.
This video belies the the MSM narrative of “peaceful counter-protestors”.
Notice how for months/years we hear
BUT let ONE event where whites push back against the tide and the RHINO, PC crowd abhor the displayed razizms by whites and we get “There was violence on both sides” because Rich is sooooo gooood, he's anything but white. Let's see the gated neighborhood he lives in!!....... I've observed occasions where progressive whites fall all over themselves to demonstrate to blacks how inclusive they are. It's sickening!!!

Did you see Dr Carol Swain of Judge Jeanie last night? She is claiming their is a difference between white nationalist vs. white racist/separatist of which the former a majority of these young men might fit into the growth you are noting. Are their bad actors in the mix? Sure, that goes without saying.
You shouldn’t need a “permit” to protest. PERIOD.
