The Joel guy apparently posted “Bleep the Internet” and said it wasn’t him, that he drives an Impala and that he’s from Michigan, not Ohio.

The driver was apparently arrested, so if it was him, he wouldn’t have been posting anything.

Footage of him backing up mainly shows damage to the plastic/fiberglass bumper.

I thought you might have been after your post but extra tint is popular here due to the heat. Most of the tint businesses won’t go darker than legal. When it’s that dark they probably installed it themselves.

When I looked at the picture of the car the dude was driving, it didn’t appear dark enough to be illegal to me but it might have been the angle it was sitting. The criminal element tries to go darker so that they can be concealed. I can remember back in the late 60’s when I first started driving and cars didn’t have any tint, just that ugly greenish stripe at the top of the windshield. :-) Any amount of tint is better than that!
