Col. David Wil Riggins, after a highly decorated Army career that included multiple tours in Iraq and Afghanistan, was on the verge of promotion to brigadier general in July 2013 when he got a phone call at the Pentagon from the Armys Criminal Investigative Division to come in for a meeting. Once there, he learned that a blogger in Washington state had just accused him of raping her, when both were cadets at West Point in 1986. An investigation was underway.
Then, Riggins sued Shannon for defamation, claiming that every aspect of her rape claim on the West Point campus was provably false, and that she wrote two blog posts and a Facebook post to intentionally derail [his] promotion to brigadier general. During a six-day trial that ended Aug. 1, a jury in Fairfax County, Va., heard from both Riggins and Shannon at length. And after 2½ hours of deliberation, they sided emphatically with Riggins, awarding him $8.4 million in damages

Shannon has properly been convicted of the rape of the General’s good name.
>>Susan Shannon will hang her head in shame.
I predict that she will be beatified by the Left for her valiant stand against the cis-hetero-racist-sexist Patriarchy and her eventual martyrdom at the hands of an unfair justice system.
I'd rather she was just hanged. (hung?)

She sounds like a nutcase.
Hanged by the neck or hung in the closet.
What, women never lie about rape?? This has to be a mistake.
In this context it’s “hanged”.
Google Images shows her to be Asian or likely half-Asian
Not bad looking, but GUILTY nonetheless
LOCK HER UP
Don’t you have to pay back your education expenses if you don’t finish West Point? Or go enlisted?
Did this event get her out of this debt?

Both he and Shannon entered the United States Military Academy in 1983. Shannon resigned from the academy in the spring of 1986, near the end of her junior year, and claims she did so shortly after being raped by Riggins, although she denied any sexual assault to West Point officials at the time, court records show. She graduated with a bachelors degree from the State University of New York at Stony Brook in 1989, married in 1990 and had three children.
Thank you both.
She probably won’t be a hero to the left, considering she believes that Sandy Hook was staged by the government. Not to mention she became a Christian.
Easy way to stop a promotion — just get someone to accuse
the individual of rape.
Or try the Petraeus gambit.
Or discover unnamed “immoral” acts by the officer (drinking too much).
Then you can purge the ranks...
What a nightmare for him and his family. She should go to prison for a long time.

Our side is characterized by the counsel of the Holy Spirit. Theirs is characterized by Alinsky, Machiavelli, and Satan himself.
Someone I knew very well, shared an office with a woman. He (one time) made a slightly off-color joke.
She smiled and said nothing.
Later she filed a sexual harassment complaint.
Supervisor investigated and found the situation did not meet requirements to be sexual harassment.
Standards were:
.1. at time of incident, victim must make indication of displeasure, communicating objection to other party.
Smiling and saying nothing to other party was not sufficient grounds.
Supervisor tried, without success, to get the woman to understand that one must indicate objection/displeasure to “harasser”. Woman later left the Company. The male employee involved refused to ever again share an office with a female.
BTW, woman was from a liberal University in a liberal city, in a liberal State.
Wonderful news!!! We need to publish this story far and wide to let those women contemplating falsely accusing a man know there are consequences to their actions.

She waited 27 years after the “rape” when she decided to destroy this man and his reputation. After reading the article, which was very well written, I concur with the jury findings. Now she wants donations made to her to help with her financial situation, which she brought on herself. I can think of so many things to say about this entire matter, but I won’t. I’m glad the jury was paying attention to all the facts and justly gave her exactly what she deserved.
I’m not sure that I could survive in today’s workplace.
