Putin slashing number of US diplomats in Russia by 755 people
ABC NEWS ^

Russian President Vladimir Putin said in a television interview that the U.S. must cut the size of its diplomatic force in his country by more than half, from about 1,210 to 455.

Putin said Sunday that the cut will make the size of the U.S. diplomatic mission in his country equal to that of Russia's diplomatic corps in the U.S.

"The personnel of the U.S. diplomatic missions in Russia will be cut by 755 people and will now equal the number of the Russian diplomatic personnel in the United States, 455 people on each side," Putin said in an interview on the Rossiya 1 network.

That’s politicking, bad, but not the same as handing over guns to terrorists and dropping bombs and missile strikes on the head of the country were are on diplomatic relations with.

What am I supposed to say? Russia can decide how many diplomats it wants in its country.

I guess it reflects the bad state of relations between the two countries that is caused by those hostile to President Trump.

The average “Joe Six-Pack” out there must be wondering if “Trump is so buddy buddy with Putin why is this happening”?

The Neocon Russia Haters will say its proof of how “nasty” Putin is.

It is a direct reaction to the legislation that’s moved with Uniparty support through Congress to tie Trump’s hand on Russia sanctions.

[[Why do we need so many “diplomats” in the first place?]]

To benefit the Clinton foundation

Good point. I think it’s safe to assume that most of those diplomats are Ubama holdovers and if they aren’t loyal to President Trump then surely Putin can’t trust them.

This is a shame. Trump came in wanting better relations with Russia, and this phony collusion narrative has tied his hands (as designed) in that he was forced to sign the sanctions bill. If he didn’t, even his own Republicans stabbed him in the back by voting for this sanctions bill, and they would override his veto if he vetoed it. Not only that, they would use it to further their collusion narrative. Obama already kicked out their diplomats and imposed sanctions.

He’s a clap for a new Cold War, and I don’t even know if Russia hacked the emails to begin with. The deep state has been pushing for hostile relations with Russia for a long time - starting with Hillary wanting to make cyber attacks the same as actual attacks, impose a no fly zone, and arm the rebels.

We get to eliminate almost 1000 of the State weasels? Probably more if you count their support staff.

Thank you, Vlad for saving the US taxpayers money. With 1/3 of the original staff, the ones remaining will have to actually do some work. If a major embassy like Moscow can run on ca. 400 personnel, it proves the point that many others around the work can have their staff cut too. Winning!

There is NO way the Soviets have only 755 in the country. More like 75 million with the dimocrats, homos, etc. in their camp. Hell, they even have their own head agent, hillary klinton in charge.

“How many CIA Agents do we need there anyway?”

A friend and his wife for 5 decades was a diplomat when he served several Eurotrash countries and Iran. When they came back to the states, he reported to a farm in Langley.

When Phillip Agee disclosed and named the CIA people in Greece, that ended our friend’s career with the Farm.
