There are no current GOP Congressmen who have been serving since 1996. There are five who have been serving since January 1995, which is as close as we can get to the Pastor's claim. They are:

◦Mac Thornberry, Texas
◦Edward Whitfield, Ky.

Send the Secret Service to question the Pastor. I understand his claim is fanciful, almost certainly purely fabricated, but it's a serious claim and he should be seriously questioned.
