Deputy Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders told the White House Press Corps on Tuesday that CNN was “a disgrace to journalism.”
Sanders’s remarks came after CNN retracted a “fake news” story over the weekend alleging links between a member of President Donald Trump’s transition team and a Russian firm, and after an exposé on Monday by James O’Keefe’s Project Veritas showed a CNN producer admitting the Russia story was “bullsh*t.”
Earlier in the day, President Donald Trump had blasted CNN on Twitter, along with other mainstream media networks. He also retweeted a parody of the CNN logo that recast the channel as “FNN” — “Fake News Network”:

Sean Hannity told us that the men behind the leaks have been CNN’s Jeff Zuker and NBC’s Andy Lack. Both networks have disgraced the reputation of American journalism around the world.

No, but when you do run a story, you might occasionally consider telling the truth. The President's statement was not about this story, but rather, about CNN's well established pattern of publishing lies and half-truths.

Tapper is trying to justify the lies and propaganda of his employers by claiming that their target is devoid of truth and decency. In other words, the end justifies the means.
The title of O'Keefe's expose', "American Pravda," was well chosen.

2. What precisely did the Russians do in that device?
3. How did this affect the election, if at all?
4. What did the Trump campaign have to do with this if anything?
