Hispanics fell in the middle, with 44 percent believing their hometown is racist...
I still say there’s hope for LEGAL Hispanics to turn R.
Blacks, not so much.
THOUGH, the real stunner of the election is that only 78 percent of black men voted for hillary.
I know. It’s a YUGE number, but it’s not the 96 percent that black women voted for her
Perception is not reality. Just because some believe the town is racist, does not mean it is so.
It’s a Democrat town.
It’s a liberal town.
Why should Blacks move to Wine Country, Sonoma California? They are born Whiners.
Boston Celtics fans hated their own black sports legends back in the 70s and early 80s. Boston has always been exceedingly racist, and still is today.
Is there a city that is NOT split along racial lines?
Lifelong Bostonian here : if you think Boston is racist please leave and never come back. The city has enough fags in it that we need people crying about a basically non existent problem
Racism is a fundamental attribute of progressive leftism. Boston is very leftist. Therefore, Boston is very racist.
Q for the BG: Blacks are bugging out of Cook Co, IL. In very large numbers. Are the blacks who are leaving racist?
worked up there for years, and yes I would not say it is racist per se, but more of elitist, and bigoted towards anyone who doe snot fit their liberal view, or where they live.
I am so surprised ... not! Boston is a cesspool of socialism which is mostly white. Only 37% whites think Boston is racist? Perfect example of liberal white guilt.
BTW, is there any better example of liberal biased reporting than the Boston Globe?
There is no group in the country more racist than blacks.
Of course there are some exceptions, but as a group the level of racism is high.
Race is the first thing that is on their minds no matter what the subject or issue.
Lokk at Barack Obama as an example.
In spite of his wealth, position and power he could not and still can not get past racial resentment.
It was on display in just about everything he did and said.
Blacks spend too much time worrying about what white people think of them.
Someone would have to define racist before I could answer the question.
Marko.
Is Boston racist? Poll shows city is split along racial lines
Certainly. Most large democrat run cities in the U.S. are the same and have been for a long, long time.
Anybody name one that isn’t?...just one?
Most racist city I’ve worked in, or lived near.
So racist it made me uncomfortable at times.
I think there’s more racial tension in Boston because minorities haven’t lived here in numbers nearly as long as in other parts of the country. Blacks and whites in Alabama understand each other, they get it. In Boston, their cultures do not intersect. They live apart.
I’ve lived almost 60 years in and around Boston. I agree with those who say the city is very racist. Liberals generally do not want to mix with their “inferiors”. The racism shows itself as condescension more than anything — rarely overt contempt. But they have VERY low expectations for people with darker skin.
Please.....greater Boston has almost no black on white crime compared to other major cities. It’s suburbs are more segregated than most larger cities, which leads to less friction between the races. Like most of the rest of New England, people in greater Boston are stand-offish & clannish...they don’t care for most outsiders whatever the color. I’ve been here all my life & to say that the area is some racist hellhole is just off-the-wall.
