During what Salt Lake City police are calling rare "take-over style" robbery at a Quiznos restaurant Tuesday night, a female employee shot and wounded a female robbery suspect, prompting her two male accomplices to flee.
The female suspect, whose name was not immediately released, was in serious condition Wednesday at a hospital, said SLCPD Detective Greg Wilking, who said the suspect was hit in the neck.

We need a much larger army of armed citizens to fight crime.
Eventually, the criminals will get a clue and stop, or they will all have been killed.
Shot in the neck? Did it damage her tattoo?
L-A (the dash don’t be silent)?
Oh I’m sure Quiznos will fire the employee and apologize to the public.
Gack!
Shot in the neck? Wow, going for the head shot instead of body mass. Gutsy!
Chick on chick action.
Maybe a lucky shot if she was shooting around the door.
Would you like chips with that hole?
Here’s a little appetizer, while you wait for your order.
We call it a ‘lead sandwich’, hold the bread.
You want that toasted? Odd that the cops say 2 to 6 shots were fired. One window, one perp. Can they not find other bullet holes? How many empty cases in the six shooter? Police work/CSI.
Perhaps it was a snap economic decision. Head shot is more difficult but more likely to kill. This saves incarceration money in the long run. It just did not quite pay off.
Firing around the edge of a door ajar indicates more a spray and pray approach that, in this instance, was effective.
Good chootin’!
No description of the perps. For some odd reason, I suppose.
Quiznos don’t ask that option. More like do you want cheese with that hole.

No really, I put 3 rounds into the center of the chest of a Viet Cong without getting a kill. I then had the problem of rendering life saving aid and getting a helo for transport to a hospital. People are much harder to kill than you might guess.
So this may or may not be a taxpayer relief shot at this point.
I thought Quiznos went under along time ago. Haven’t seen one in ages.
I call shenanigans!
There’s women involved.
How are we supposed to figure out who’s innocent or guilty if there’s no pictures!
