About Jared Loughner and that crosshairs map. As I understand it, the map was a campaign mailer, likely mailed out to registered voters (GOP) in the district. Has there ever been one iota of evidence that this drug addled loser living in his parent's basement ever laid eyes on this map?

I think the odds of him ever seeing the map are incredibly small, making the map just a completely random red herring.

The shooter, James Hodgkinson, is from Belleville ("Beautiful City"), Illinois....a typical heartland small city. The city has a population of around 42,000. It's located in southwestern Illinois near the Mississippi River. Scott Air Force Base is nearby. Just across the river and a little north is St. Louis, Missouri.

Belleville is 80% white, and most of its population is of German heritage. Its sister city is Paderborn, Germany.

The median family income as of the last census is $47,000. The city's county, St. Clair, went for Trump in 2017, but not by much.
