House Democrats denounced Rep. Brad Sherman's (D-CA) push to impeach President Trump during their weekly meeting on Tuesday, The Hill reported.
As Democrats debated how they should combat Trump's administration while weighing the political implications of their actions, Rep. Michael Capuano (D-MA) blasted Shermans call for impeachment as a selfish maneuver that could hurt fellow party members.
Sherman on Monday introduced an article of impeachment against the president on the House floor, accusing Trump of obstructing justice when he fired FBI Director James Comey last month.
Sherman is now the second Democrat to advocate for president Trump's impeachment. Last month Rep. Al Green (D-TX) also called for the president to be impeached on the House floor.
"This is about my position. This is about what I believe. And this is where I stand. I will not be moved," Green said. "The President must be impeached."

Please PLEASE PLEASE try to impeach him! PLEASE! Anytime the Democrats want to commit political suicide, who are we to stand in their way?
Mad Maxine doesn't count?.....................
Go ahead and try it, Democrats! Don’t be cowards.
Some enterprising entrepreneur should make and market a new ice cream flavor of peach ice cream named Empeached Trump.
Leftists would then have something to feed on in their misery and most of ‘em are too stupid to know how it was supposed to be spelled and the rest of us could get a good laugh when we see it.
Plus they’d all get fat(ter) from eating it 24/7/365......................
Yes, something to run against. democrat political posturing and revenge. This is ALL about politics and has NOTHING t do with justice.
Hammer it home. Since they’ve already started this BS—and I think people are already tired of it, our counter-campaign should begin NOW!
Such as:
Trump:
“You sent me to Washington to drain the swamp and Make America Great Again, and since BEFORE I was sworn in, they’ve gone after me. Now they want to impeach me, for something even the former FBI director said I wans NOT being investigated for. Do you think they’re looking out fro the American Republic, or do they really want to keep me from pulling the plug on their bribe-invested corrupt swamp?
The task of Making America Great Again has only just begun. But I can’t do it without YOU. Please contact congress and let them know your still mad as hell”
More evidence the polls are cooked. Approval rating of 36% for Donald Trump? Really? And, DEMOCRATS are telling one of their own to shut up about impeaching Trump? That means their constituents are telling them HANDS OFF Trump! Ahahahhaaaaahhahahaaaa.

When did it become acceptable for the two parties to just fight each other rather than actually govern from a “relatively common values system”.
If this is not proof our country is in a “cold” civil war, I don’t know what is.
Well, I could have spelled/written that better, but you get the idea...
Don’t forget the singer from Texas.
Cause the Founding Fathers clearly meant impeachment to be used as just another political weapon n’at. /s
Actually, Sir, it started between Adams and Jefferson. They were particularly nasty to each other in the fledgling parties they were creating.
Then, look at the 1850’s, especially after the Republicans formed.
From the end of the Civil War until about the turn of the century to 1901, the democrats we’re keeping their heads down because they chose badly in 1861-65.
The 20th Century was mild, but then the press decided to fake neutrality and promote the Dems and assure everyone that the Great Depression was the Republican’s fault.
But yeah, even Tip O’Neill worked with Ronald Reagan.
In my opinion, this all started with Clinton, who had NO mandate (only got 43% of the vote in ‘92 and 46% in ‘96) but still tried to cram the full Leftist agenda down the country’s throat. In 1994 we struck back, and it’s been ON ever since.

And the consensus was more lies, innuendo, new attacks, leaks, and fake news. No changes planned.
I think you are on to something. And to add my two cents, whenever that date happened, that was the beginning of the US becoming a “dead country walking.”
I certainly hope so.
Bill Clinton was impeached but acquitted in the Senate 54-46.
In other words, There was not a 2/3 majority to convict.
