Arizona Senator John McCain appeared confused during the Senate Intelligence Committee hearing with former FBI Director James Comey. At one point, the 80-year-old McCain referred to President Donald Trump as Mr. Comey and even said President Comey. McCain was asking Comey about his handling of Trump compared to his handling of the investigation into Hillary Clintons use of a private email server for official Secretary of State business.

If you are senior to John McCain (80 y/o), then I salute you.
You are open to learning new systems.
I never could get my Dad to even try using the internet, email or texting, ever. Shortly before he passed at 84, he said ‘I don’t need it, nor do I want it. Give it up. Son!’
I resisted a long time too, but I’m a News Hound, and wanted my fix when the news occurred.
I sat and listened to his line of question twice...regardless of his mental capacities (whether you believe he’s senile or not), your point about “double standards” is very appropriate.
I would take it a step further and even venture to say that potentially ‘both’ are/were being investigated...we haven’t heard the last of it.
That said, if anyone doesn’t believe Russia hasn’t been trying to influence our elections since the start and end of the “cold war” they don’t understand the true concept of ‘politics’.
Personally, I’d be disappointed in them NOT trying to influence not just our election but everything that our esteemed leaders do...it’s the nature of the beast.
Just re-elected last year (16), he will have a long senescence on the public dole.
Two things were evident:
1. Juan McLame was asking questions that had been already answered merely so he could take the spotlight; and
2. Senility is well set in and advanced.
I don’t really get the joke in this particular cartoon, (yes, I see the little shoes) but it’s still a funny drawing anyway.
Most of my friends who are over 70
are not afraid of heart attacks and cancer
They are not afraid of dying
they are afraid of Dementia
At his age, the old hero IS confused all the time.
"Old heroes never die; they just go senile;" Plan accordingly.
Capt Queeg should do AZ and the country a big favor and retired.

I understood what he was saying too. He wants to know how could Comey come to a quick decision on Clinton, and yet keeps this crap of the President going on.
Frogs wear shoes where you live. OK
Reminds me of the blonde shotgunning and flipping alligators looking for a pair of new shoes ....
Well, I voted against him, but unfortunately there are a whole bunch of snowbirds from parts of the US that are voting here and they are mostly liberals!
...and when McCain seemed to snap to attention he quickly mumbled, “...bomb Russia...”, and then settled down.
When is the doddering old fool NOT confused...?
McCain and Thad Cochran are drooling doddering dinosaurs who rely 100% on their aides, to find the cafeteria, the restroom, and their desks. As long as they can be coached by McConnell to press the proper buttons in the Senate chamber, they'll be serving as long as they want.
It’s like Ginsburg. she probably doesnt write much of her opinions..if any.
We tried ..we suffer.
Speaking from personal experience, often the person with dementia does not believe there is anything wrong. For famous / powerful / rich people, the family is actually at a disadvantage as the person has believed in their super power too long. They cannot reason. It’s not “won’t listen,” really. It’s CANNOT. Reason has left the building. And they can fool people. With extra effort they can appear normal for short times when they really try.
