A Freep needed I have the D.C. Switchboard on my phone. For YEARS I have called and a volunteer will answer and ask me who I want to be connected to. I do not only call my U.S. Representative or Senator, I call them all.
I just called to speak to Nancy Pelosi who came to Texas and called us cowards for obeying the rule of law (on illegals and Sanctuary cities). Well, now the switchboard automated asks press 1 for Senator and 2 for Representative. If you press 2 for Representative then you must enter your zip code or look up her district to find a zip code there and lie.
Im an American. They work for me. ALL of them work for me. At least all of them can RUIN my life with taxes and laws from another district.
I finally looked up her San Fran phone number and left my message, stay out of Texas, ruin your own State and leave mine alone. And if you dont like the laws hey you are in the perfect position to change the laws, so do that before calling us cowards for obeying the laws.
My quest for FReeping.... Please pick up the phone and call both your Senators and your Representative and tell them this new system is UNACCEPTABLE to the American people. We have the right to ask for ANY Representative or Senator that is behaving stupidly and tell them so.
Years ago Freepers mailed thousands of TEA bags to members of Congress, Christmas cards to Cheney at Gores residence and attended Rallies, in fact we WERE the Paul Revere's to the TEA parties. Please freep this time. Tell them to return our liberty in this manner.
The DC switchboard number is 202-225-3121. From there you can call all of them.
I called the home office of my Representative, both my Senators and tomorrow I will call the Presidents comment line 202-456-1111.
I bet some stupid democrat changed the system and most of them dont even know it happened.
Please ping your lists and spread the word.
Please Freep! Only takes a few minutes!
Freeps needed,
ping your lists please!
“Press 3 for Spanish.”
The city of compassion and using other peoples' money fired some operators, that's all.
Or some Republican (more likely since they control Congress) changed it because the antifa crowd was inundating them with calls.
How about looking up the zipcode of where you want them to think you’re calling from?
Since you have to get on their websites to do that, why not just find their direct dial numbers? Avoid the switchboard.
Get out your local phone book and look up your bureaucrat and call many times complaining you can’t get through to it(he and she are to patronizing of words). There is a White House website that is asking for things to improve the government so there would be a place to ask for change.
I think they’ve been doing this for a while, but I bet you could fake them out.

I’m sure there are lists of zip codes on the net. Wanna talk to Nanzi? Look up a San Fran code.
I am surprised the system does not know where you are calling from and automatically direct your call to your rep.
It’s 2017. Do you really think we should be funding hundreds of switcboard operators just so you can call every representive in congress. It is a cost savings that I fully applaud.
Central phone directory: at capwiz.com.
Or if you want to be really slick, you could look up and call their staff members directly:
Congressional staff phone directory at Inside Gov dot com
Or if you want to be really slick, you could look for an archived copy of the cellphone directory that Guccifer 2.0 posted for a while last year. I wouldn't waste my time suggesting the Wayback Machine as that wouldn't be right...
Just as easy to get her direct dial number off her page and call her directly, without benefit of switchboard.
Yeah,,, if you think that’s really her direct number, and doesn’t go through a few secretaries.
They are limiting people who aren’t their constituents from bothering them. As they should.
The Congressional web site email system has been that way for many years.
You can only contact YOUR representative.
Call your Congresscritter and it goes to a staffer. But you can all any member’s office without the switchboard.
www.house.gov
www.senate.gov
You can get any Senator or Rep’s phone number in DC, and a link to their homepage, which lists all of their in-state offices
I go to their website and get the zip code for one of their offices. Their contact forms often require an address. If so, I change the street number just a little different from the office as well. Always gets me past their hurdles!
