John F. Kennedy would be 100 years old on Monday, were he still alive. The 35th president of the United States was killed in 1963, midway through his term in office, but he is revered today as one of the most towering figures in modern American politics.

Remembering Camelot.
You mean Came-a-lot.
JFK put a man on the moon, and Obama put a strange man in the girl’s bathroom.
He can shake hands with Teddy and Bobby.
“....but he is revered today as one of the most towering figures in modern American politics.”
Revered by the left. His memory is a blank canvass upon which leftists can paint all their illusions.
And let’s give thanks to the unions, organized crime and the left wing media for getting him elected.
What a massive MSM propaganda campaign to glorify him and his administration. Hurrah for Camelot
Jackie Kennedy was OK.
But Melania is a better, and more accomplished First Lady.
Put that in your pipe and smoke it.
The election of Kennedy was made possible only by massive electoral fraud in Chicago and Louisiana. It changed history. American culture was forever transformed by Vietnam and the Immigration Reform Act of 1965, not to mention the misnamed “great society” socialist programs that can not even be modified much less eliminated. Ever since 1960 Democrats see fraud as a useful tool.
He can shake hands with Teddy and Bobby.
What a headline.
This is not his 100th birthday. John is dead.
He was only seven years older the George HW Bush and Jimmy Carter who are 3 1/2 months difference in age at 92 (soon 93).
Donald Trump, George W. Bush and Bill Clinton are all about 70.
I remember where I was when I was told about his death...
It was 3 weeks before my 15th birthday 8am Saturday in New Zealand and my 12 yo kid brother woke me up and told me he knew something I didn’t na na na na na etc just like a kid brother would...
he and Dad had left very early that morning to go fishing and when they arrived at the secret spot Dad had turned on his battery radio to hear the news at 6am ...the station opened with the assassination of the American president...
Our dad told my brother he wouldn’t fish that day and they came home...
I figure my British Commonwealth father had more respect for America that day than many native born citizen Americans...
did you have to wonder at my own love and respect for our country ???
it was bred into me by parents who never got to ever visit our shores, but remembered the American soldiers, marines and sailors who stopped the Japanese from overrunning the islands of New Zealand...
some people never forgot..
If he hadn’t been shot there was a very good chance he’d have been defeated for reelection in 1964. The Bay of Pigs disaster, the overthrow of Diem and Buddhist Priests on fire, discontent in the Solid South, the loss of the Mafia support that got him elected by fraud in the first place, and a cauldron of sex scandal Republicans were well aware of would have been the meat and potatoes of that campaign. From Julius Caesar, to Charles I, to Lincoln, to Che, nothing enhances a reputation like “martyrdom”.
Yes...I thought...someone needs to inform CBS...but...fake news...it’s everywhere
Marilyn Monroe will sing again “Happy Birthday Mr President”
“JFK put a man on the moon”
Actually, LBJ and Nixon did that.
Back in ‘63 the government didn’t even seriously investigate whether the Russians or Cubans had a hand in the assassination of JFK. Today the Russians get blamed for bad weather. So the Democrats have evolved.
Nixon was to the left of JFK on national defense in the 1960 election.
