Mr. Trump has a lot of money, and I hope he is planning a well-thought-out lawsuit against these media propaganda outlets that will result in meaningful changes. If the liberal media will accept attack adds from liberal groups it’s only right they accept well designed adds from President Trump’s re-election campaign. Maybe “Fake News” is too raw a slogan for this particular media group, I like “Dishonest Liberal News Media”—waits, that’s too long.....

Why doesn’t Trump break up the free TV networks?

They’re supposed to be for everybody! They are run by Liberals for Liberals.

What keeps the right from doing this?

Well the ad didn’t exactly callthem fake news...It said, “You would not know this (Trump’s accomplishments) by watching the news,” and there was a pic of news reporter/anchors from several networks with the words “Fake News” written across their faces...;)

The Bakers did not like having to bake for gays’ wedding, the florists did not like having to do bouquets for the gays’ wedding, but they were legally compelled to...I think they are legally compelled to show the ad and their refusal violates FCC rules I suspect.

Who watches network TV anyway? It’s all over the Internet and that’s where the audiences are.

Section 312 [47 U.S.C. §312] Administrative sanctions.

(f) For purposes of this section:

(1) The term “willful”, when used with reference to the commission or omission of any act, means the conscious and deliberate commission or omission of such act, irrespective of any intent to violate any provision of this Act or any rule or regulation of the Commission authorized by this Act or by a treaty ratified by the United States.

(2) The term “repeated”, when used with reference to the commission or omission of any act, means the commission or omission of such act more than once or, if such commission or omission is continuous, for more than one day.

President Trump filed some paperwork for a 2020 run on Inauguration Day.
This paperwork was a block to nonprofits, so they couldn’t campaign against him early on

Thanks.

Good to know the reason.

Sounds as if he and his staff are a step ahead of the Anti-Trumpers.

I figured that after the propaganda media saw their efforts to take down Trump fail during the campaign, the next step would be full-on censorship. They finally realized that showing Trump’s speeches and ads undermine all their partisan lies against him. They attack him constantly, but act offended when he attacks them back with the truth. He makes people question and further research what the media tells them and that’s what they fear the most. Now, they are trying something even more drastic than their norm, because as much as the press moans about the First Amendment when it comes to freedom of the press (from criticism, apparently), the media is chocked full of people who oppose free speech and believe they should be the guardians over what the peasants are allowed to know.

Why the need for this ad? Trump was just elected. Isn’t this premature? (an understatement).

Normally it would be premature. With the whole Left and part of those who claim to be on the Right working 24/7/365 to stop as much of his agenda as they can, and showing no signs of letting up, I'd say it's right on time - gonna be a long haul to keep him in office the extra 4 years to ensure as much of his agenda and the natural evolution of them gets to happen.

Dear President Trump,

Your best campaign speech is in your actions. DO WHAT WE ELECTED YOU TO DO. BUILD THE WALL. END GOVERNMENT INTERFERENCE IN OUR HEALTH CARE. REPEAL, DO NOT REPLACE. End our entanglement in foreign affairs.

If you neglect this, then all the pretty speeches will be moot.

Sincerely,
Jemian, who is disgusted with worthless talk

Networks don’t have FCC licenses. Only individual radio and TV stations do.

Yes thanks. I kinda sorta knew that. One of my rants over the fake news crap has been to point people at their local news first for their anger because of their 'affiliation' to such networks. I guess I should say, I suspected that to be the case. I seem to recall, CNN being broadcast (even tho' they are mainly 'cable') over radio stations may have been one such case. I still relate most things as local when it comes time, ummm, to direct your fire.

Sometime when u have time, Google the ownership of these Networks, then if you know WHO these “owners of stock” are, you’ll have your answer on WHY these uber liberal, marxists, socialist network bosses are left alone to spew their liberalism up to even the point of destroying the company.

Most of these “owners of stock” in these networks are large liberal companies, trusts and mutual funds.

The management of these networks is really inviting shareholders to file Derivative Suits against management, for damaging the Corporations. There is no way this arrogant refusal to run ads supported by half the population, can possibly be sound business. Not only are the Leftist misfits denying their shareholders the benefit to their holdings from the additional revenue. Far more significant, they are antagonizing millions of potential viewers, leading to decreased revenue in general.

Some Conservative law firm might get a big fee for teaching a long overdue lesson.

No before someone asks, I am too old to expend the energy involved. I just hope someone out there will look into the possibility.

Its not just CNN: Now ABC, CBS and NBC all refuse to run Trump re-election campaign ad ...

Next step.. turn the FCC loose on them with so many hoops to jump through that they'll wished they'd have run the ads.
