Some good points and WHY stockholders have not taken action is a decades old surprise to me. Are they scared for their own physical well being? Do they not want to spend the money? Are they scared of being counter sued? Are they uber liberals themselves?
I don’t know. I do know all this Liberal media power in the alphabet networks exists only because of the liberal stockholders.................e.g. Comcast..............the biggest of all.
It’s understandable, as self-protection, that networks would refuse to run ads that criticize them.

We are going to have to carve some more rock for President Reagan and President Trump. (IIRC, President Reagan wanted Donald to run for president some day.)
“Equal time” always ended up as:
1. Free air time for Democrats.
2. Free air time for Democrats and a token ‘Republican’ who was pre-scripted to be the patsy.
3. Free air time for the craziest person whose philosophy could even vaguely be considered or conflated to on the “right” - actual Nazis, KKK members, that sort of thing so Democrats could have their time without effective sane opposition.
4. More free air time for Democrats and actual Republican content somehow never gets on the air.
In other words, it accomplished the opposite of what was claimed and it made even conservative-leaning media outlets have to carry loonie leftist crap.
Google “Fairness Doctrine Failure.” It is a good thing that the Fairness Doctrine was taken out back and shot a number of years ago.
Yeah, you maybe should look into increasing your range and discernment - because more and more these days, the responsible parties *aren’t* local to you and you’d just be abusing some poor local who had no say in the decision making and has no power to change it.
My range and discernment is local, well since July 2012 or so when I cut SatTVee. I have watched these local affiliate yahoo's spew the same filth that is spewed on the main Networks. They do it with glee, much like any propaganda system that I have seen over the last 50 years. There are NO innocents here. Do you know of 'locals' that don't speak the same propaganda? Unless you are talking of forming ranks? You aren't getting at those National people otherwise. Now, if our federales want to crack their skulls, I will sit here and cheer them on. I'm a Constitutionalist first but they have one and all abused their place in our society for as long as I can remember. They all deserve the wrath that's coming!
