Why can’t the Clintons just go away?
New York Post ^ | 4/22/2017 | Maureen Callahan

Posted on 04/22/2017 11:32:55 AM PDT by simpson96

Since losing the most winnable presidential election in modern American history, Hillary Clinton has, among other things: given a series of high-profile speeches, joined Gov. Cuomo at his public unveiling of tuition-free college, refused to rule out a run for mayor of New York and issued an online video message exhorting fellow Democrats to fight on in her name.

“The challenges we face,” she said, “as a country and a party, are real.”

Clearly, Hillary still sees herself as the leader of the Democratic Party. And why shouldn’t she? Democrats have been locked in an abusive relationship with the Clintons for decades, enabling, explaining, convincing themselves that next time will be different. Party faithful hew to Hillary’s excuses for losing to Donald Trump: It’s James Comey’s fault, plus the Russians, white supremacists, misogynists, the deplorables and immobilized millennials, among other things.

Her losses in 2008 and 2016 have been framed as things that happened to Hillary —not one, but two Black Swan events that stymied her historic destiny.

How is it that Democrats have fealty here, let alone sympathy? How is it that Hillary routinely walks into standing ovations at Broadway theaters? Where is the realization that Hillary is to blame or the rational rejection of a two-time loser?

Any debate about what happened last November ends with Tuesday’s publication of “Shattered: Inside Hillary Clinton’s Doomed Campaign.” Journalists Jonathan Allen and Amie Parnes spent the past two years talking to Hillary’s most trusted advisers, and what emerges is damning.

Every mistake made in her 2008 run was compounded in 2016: the paranoia, the staff infighting, the underestimation of the intra-party wild card, the self-righteousness, the failure to connect with average voters, the belief that because it was her turn the presidency would be hers. It’s “Groundhog Day” with global consequences.

More Americans voted for Hillary than for Trump

In spite of all the seeming negatives, there is there there

Hopefully we’ll get lucky and Chelsea will just fade into the background. When JFK Jr was alive I would have loved to see him take the New York senate and then the Presidency, but chelsea is trash. If JFK Jr did not die, Clinton would have LOST the NY senate race to him 20 years ago.

The Democrats could easily evolve into a liberal, regional political party.

Hillary got only 50 electoral votes from states in the interior of America. The vast majority of her support came from the liberal enclaves in the northeast and Pacific coast states.

Nobody talks much about homosexual marriage or the social issues. But the Democrats are the party of the LGBT extremists, and now they are pushing transgender bathroom access as the new civil rights issue of the day.

People are intimidated about talking about things like this, due to being branded homophobic and transphobic and all the rest. But due to this, and other marginal issues such as global warming, Democrats are losing support across the country, even as they solidify their holds on extremely liberal places such as California.

You agree with the MSM. Others differ. We have yet to see even a preliminary report by VP Pence’s election investigative committee regarding what they discovered. Crickets. I’m not holding my breadth.

Multiple voting, illegals, dead people, and digitally-altered Soros-controlled machine votes do not count. President Trump won the real popular vote, not that that counts, of course.

that is true, but Hillary fell well short of 50% of the vote. She got a plurality but not a majority.

And, if you back out California, Hillary lost the popular vote in the other 49 states combined.

The only way to get rid of the KKKlintons is a hail of silver bullets or wooden stakes through their hearts. I strongly suggest BOTH along with a generous application of holy water.

In a nutshell, the deplorables will never vote for despicables. Hillary and her whole fam damily are still emitting a loathsome stench.

That ship has sailed. It already has according to the 2016 Electoral vote map.

Her ego and sense of importance and entitlement will not let Hillary simply fade away. She just thinks that she is so much smarter than the rest of us and that she is entitled to rule over others.

The entire Left is dedicated to killing babies. I.e., they are monsters. In order for Hillary herself, or any of her followers, to grasp that she is empty, stupid, and evil, and is not what Americans want, they would have to simply cease to be who they are.

And who says they even care what Americans WANT? Hillary’s machine tried to steal eleven states. She lost only because she failed in six of them.

I’m not one to kick someone else when they’re down. It’s inhumane to find joy in the loss of someone who tried their best and failed. Their grief is shareable and if you can help the sufferer carry the stone, then all the better. But Hillary Clinton isn’t human, and I’ve delighted in her demise for over 160 days now. “I’m si-i-i-ngin’ in the rain.....”

The few Libs I know in Real Life don’t really LIKE the Beast, but they voted for her. A LOT of them voted for Bernie in the Primary, then were pretty much forced to vote for The Beast.

NONE of them sang her praises in any way, shape or form. And now that President Trump has won, all they do is bash him, versus being the least little bit introspective and working on shoring up their own party. I think they’re used to winning by ‘willing’ things to be and magic and pixie dust. They sure can’t seem to ‘work’ at making anything be, LOL!

They are going to be out of power for a very long time. It’s going to be a long 4-8-12-16 years for them.

And that makes me very happy! :)
