President Donald Trump plans to hold a "BIG rally" in Pennsylvania next weekend although the exact time, place and reason for the event are not known.
Trump, tweeted from his personal account Saturday afternoon that the rally would be held Saturday, April 29, without immediately providing further details.

As Politico notes, the rally will mark Trump's 100th day in office. The event also falls on the same night as the White House Correspondent's Dinner, which Trump has decided to skip, breaking years of precedent.
The president spent much time campaigning in Pennsylvania, and taking the state proved a key victory in defeating Democratic challenger Hillary Clinton in the Electoral College.
Amidst protests held to show opposition against him after his win, Trump has held several post-election rallies in the "battleground" states that helped take the 2016 election, such as Ohio and Florida.
Saturday's event won't be Trump's first post-election rally in the Keystone State, as the president came to Hersey in December as part of his "thank you tour."
This is a developing story and will be updated once more information becomes available.
;-)
About time we broke some of this KA precedent.
“The event also falls on the same night as the White House Correspondent’s Dinner, which Trump has decided to skip, breaking years of precedent.”
I wouldn’t give the ‘press’ the time of day, either. Keep bringing it To The People, Mr. President!
*TRUMP BUMP*
WOO HOO!!!
GO.PRESIDENT TRUMP. GO!!! MAKING AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!!!
There was recently a major advancement made in steel manufacturing - graphene? - I hope there’s great jobs news to announce at the rally.
Good.
My ears just popped. It must be all the political air being sucked from the room. Pity about the - what was that silly dinner called, anyway? Pray for salmonella.
Last of those WH Correspondent dinners I watched was with Bush 43 and Stephen Colbert. First time I’d seen Colbert. What a disgrace. George and Laura Bush should have stood up and left. Why would President Trump subject himself to their nonsense. He ges 90% negative coverage from those imbeciles.
Go to PA. If it’s not too far into PA, I might drive up there myself, even if I can’t get into the venue... I want the media to see long lines of people waiting to see President Trump, as they did before the election (but didn’t see his win coming?)
It’s gonna be YUGE!
He no doubt knew that was his 100th day back when he declined to attend. None of us did the math!
No way would I celebrate my 100th day as the butt of a bunch of asshat liberal jokes.
“Correspondents” is pronounced as “Whore Respondents”.
aha, just what I said he should do instead of attending that vile “White House Correspondents Dinner”... heh heh, I’m so glad that Team Trump listens to me.
Let the fun begin.
Why ANY republican goes to that circle jerk is beyond me. Good for Trump ignoring those jerks. They hate him with a visceral disgust. They hate his supporters just as much. It’s good to see a president who doesn’t pretend to like them.
I got in to an online argument on our local rag comment section with our esteemed local reporter. He lamented that Trump didn’t trust the press and insulted the poor white house reporters when he told Acosta “No you’re fake news.” Our local reporter had no idea that CNN, NYT, WAPO reported his wife was a hooker and an escort, published the Russian golden showers as gospel, and called his son retarded and asked why the hell he should respect them? He had no reply so I called the reporters wife a hooker and told him he still owes me respect.
Surprisingly he didn’t block me on the webstite.
