Next week’s scheduled speech by right-wing pundit Ann Coulter at UC Berkeley is off — for now — because campus officials say they won’t be able to protect participants from rioting if it should happen.
"We have been unable to find a safe and suitable venue for your planned April 27 event featuring Ann Coulter," vice chancellors Scott Biddy and Stephen Sutton emailed the student groups co-hosting the event — the Berkeley College Republicans and BridgeUSA — Tuesday evening.

If the university heads are incapable of providing a safe and secure learning environment they should be relieved and replaced by somebody who is.

Maybe if the police would actually get out their cars and arrest the miscreants it would be safe for someone to speak at a supposed “institution of learning”. Instead the police are ordered to stand down and do nothing so that the school can claim that they are unable to provide a safe venue.
Can someone in a MAGA shirt ride in the front of a Berkeley bus? Can thyey drink from the same water fountains as the libs?
This should be a damning indictment of the leftist movement.
A university in the United States of America is unable to host a speech by a best-selling author and noted pundit solely because of the significant threat of violence by leftist students and other leftist groups.
Free speech is dead. Let the civil war begin shortly if dialogue and debate are over. The left has made their choice.
Maybe some members of the NRA should volunteer to provide protection for Ann from rioters?
