Conspiracy Loons Unite With Cruz Zealots To Advance Social Media Campaign Against Jared Kushner
theconservativetreehouse.com ^ | April 7, 2017

The launch of Tomahawk missiles by President Trump has displaced the gravitational center of twitter purists, litmus nuts, conspiracy loons and the even creepier goons that orbit the remnants of the Ted Cruz #NeverTrump camp.

Their latest anti-Trumpism du jour targets Jared Kushner, President Trump’s son-in-law and spouse of Ivanka Trump. Every loon campaign needs a hashtag, and their chosen identifying moonbattery is scribed under #FireKushner.

The concern, as it is openly expressed by those pushing the hashtag, is that Ivanka Trump and Jared Kushner will sneak into President Trump’s bedroom and place a pod under his bed which will envelop the elder Trump overnight, replicate him, and simultaneously turn him into a left-wing liberal globalist. Yes, that appears to be the general concern.

Like all similar ideological moonbattery that has come before (primary race 2015/16), there is an echo-chamber of more than tinged antisemitism, combined with a dash of Cruzian litmus testing of all activity. In essence, this is yet another outcropping of the continuing evolution of #NeverTrump. It’s silly, but, alas people take this stuff seriously.

Somehow these anti-Jared people have convinced themselves that Jared Kushner wasn’t part of President Trump’s life prior to June 2015, when candidate Trump planned his strategy, coordinated with Jared, and then announced his run for the White House.

When reminded that Trump’s policies and perspectives existed in his campaign speeches long before Bannon surfaced they begin shrieking, and typing, in some odd high-pitched tones calling forth their zombie-minded cohorts. It’s the weirdest thing since Ted Cruz’s ‘Muh Principles’ pre-convention speech.

The stupid is very strong with this effort.

“If Jared Kushner was half as smart as people seem to think he is, he’d be back in New York running his family business. The fact that he can just pack up, move to Washington, and leave all of that behind is very telling.”

This is your post? Yes?
MY point is Trump could also be back in NY running his family business.
He is not. So what is it very telling regarding?

Their politics are such they helped President Trump win the presidency.

Do you even know what their political views are on any given issue?

I read pretty much everything you never-trump people post because I believe it’s important to know what the enemy is trying to promote.

I don't know why you'd count me among the "never-Trump people." Donald Trump was the first political candidate I've ever financially supported in my life.

Also your claim about Jared & when Gorelick was hired is false.

You posted an article from March 24, 2017 about Jamie Gorelick's legal work for Jared Kushner and Ivanka Trump. What in that article contradicts anything I've said?

Follow the cheerleaders, Soros bots, media and #NeverTrump.

This manufactured feud, and the OMG Kushner and Ivanka are liberals, is not helpful. Do people need to be outraged by something so they feel alive?

People need to evaluate what President Trump is or is not doing, and ignore the noise.

“What in that article contradicts anything I’ve said?”

So you couldn’t be bothered to actually read the article? Poor thing. You claimed Jared & Ivanka only recently hired Gorelick. The article proves your assertion to be false. Also, in the article it’s explained Gorelick also helped Tillerson in the confirmation process. I suppose in your world that makes Tillerson suspect as well.

“Do you even know what their political views are on any given issue?”

Not only do I know, I continue to not care about their personal politics. They support President Trump & helped him defeat Hillary & Co.

“I don’t know why you’d count me among the “never-Trump people.”

Because you write & argue like a never-trumper & you have asserted things that are not true.

Kush uses FB marketing subcontractors. That qualifies him to do what exactly? He called his contacts in Silicon Valley and asked for their subs. Brilliant. For his next daring move, he called Cambridge Analytics to parse voter data.

Oh and he had a verified twitter account. Are there no limits to his awesomeness?

It would make for a weird thanksgiving if Trump fired Kushner.

I've never been able to take this site serious becaue of this.

Good grief, riding the coat tails of a dead man and putting him in an Uncle Sam suit? "We need you to be Andrew Breitbart. I am Andrew Breitbart."

Weird, just weird.

1. The first media reports about Jared Kushner retaining Jamie Gorelick to represent him came out in January 2017. There were plenty of heated discussions here on FreeRepublic over it back then. I know this because I was involved in many of them. The article you linked seems to suggest that Kushner actually called Gorelick (which does NOT mean she was retained to represent him at the time) around November 2016. I have no idea how that supports your statement that Gorelick had been representing Jared and Ivanka Trump throughout the 2016 presidential campaign.

2. If Gorelick helped Tillerson in the confirmation process, then yes -- it makes him "suspect," too. I don't trust any Washington insiders -- and a lot of people here on FreeRepublic voted for Donald Trump because THEY don't, either.

3. The consensus among most people here on FR is that Jamie Gorelick should have been prosecuted for dereliction of duty for her role in the pre-9/11 bungling in the U.S. law enforcement and intelligence communities. She was appointed to the 9/11 commission that was charged with investigating U.S. preparedness against terrorist attacks even though she herself had been responsible for much of that preparedness herself. A person involved in an investigation of their own work is engaged in a conflict of interest by definition. I don't know how you would trust ANYONE in a new administration you support who would even allow their names to appear in the same sentence as this creature.

3. I survived the purges here on FreeRepublic that went on during the George W. Bush idol-worship of the mid-2000s, so I know how to be objective even if it means offending people by pointing out the giant red warning flags in Washington on any given issue or news item.

People need to evaluate what President Trump is or is not doing, and ignore the noise.

This is 100% correct. Most of the angst you've seen here on FreeRepublic about President Trump in recent weeks is based on what he is or is not doing, not "noise." Trump's role in the RyanCare AHCA debacle was the first big red flag for a lot of folks here. The "noise" you see here really just feeds legitimate concerns these people have.

I realize nothing I say, no link to any story is going to satisfy you. You make claims about “the consensus here on FR is...” which you have no way of measuring or proving. Kinda like Brian Williams. You want Trump to ignore people he’s trusted & who helped him defeat Hillary. I get it.

As I stated earlier, it’s nice to see what the Trump’s enemies are up to.

Here’s the thing, President Trump has done an amazing job so far for the country despite his enemies to the right & the left. He will continue to do so. I trust President Trump’s judgement & I don’t trust yours. Gorsuch is on the Supreme Court. ICE is allowed to do it’s job again. President Trump proved the era of weakness is over with his surgical strike against Syria. Companies are starting to invest in America in greater numbers than in the last 8 years. Confidence in the economy is up since President Trump took office.

Trump’s accomplished so many things against a stacked deck all the while Jared & Ivanka & others have been advising him. If they are so bad, why is President Trump doing such a great job?

Kushner is 100% Silver Spoon In Mouth Ruling Class and way too young to be “advising” the President. It’s “America First” vs. the Neo-Cons it seems.

_________________________

Kushner has been advising Trump since the start, why are so many turning on him and calling him a neocon? If Bannon and Kushner had some issue, that’s between them. They were allies until the past month. I think many are purposely trying to cause a split in the admin and get both Kushner and Bannon out.

I’ve been really disgusted watching how quickly people aorund turn on you.

Jamie Gorelick serves as the personal attorney for both Jared Kushner and Ivanka Trump. That’s all anyone on this site needs to know about them. No innuendo there, eh?

Maybe she's being hired to show them how to avoid being skewered by the left wing on ethics issues. She's certainly an expert on crooked left wing tactics.

Right. But you illustrate the point well. You’ve been a Cruzbot since the primaries and now you are also a militant anti-Trump zealot, contrary to Ted Cruz who at least appears to have capitulated.

Sen Cruz seems to be genuinely supportive or our President, as contrasted with the Bo Bergdahl alt IDs on FR pretending to be conservatives.

I don't trust anyone from the Kushner family -- and I've been saying that for years.

That's because the Kushners are Democrats.

Anyone on the opposite side of Bannon is an immediate red flag. Bannon, Conway and Miller represent conservative influence in the White House. Anyone trying to replace them, or shut down their influence, represents something else. #FireKushner!

Thought you guys were opposed to globalists, GOPe and leftists. Are you now ok with them as long as they are Trump's globalists, establishment types and lefties? How consistent of you.

Isn’t “Tomahawk” kinda racist?

Wouldn’t a strike by 59 Tomahawks be considered a microagression?

The whole Ivanka/Jared thing reeks of nepotism. Even though they are unpaid it just looks bad. Wny give your enemies ammo? In addition I don’t want some 33 year old know nothing and her husband whispering in Trumps ear night and day.
