This ‘divide’ was consciously and purposely created. The creation of this destructionism is nearly a full century in the making.
There is no way in hell it can be peacefully solved. The domestic enemy will not allow that to happen.
Only the willfully blind are unwilling to see the situation as an us or them binary solution set.
This is one of the best op-ed’s I’ve read in a long time. Very true and very insightful.
Really nailed and described the leftist mentality in a way we can understand since much of how the left thinks is still a mystery we simply describe as a mental illness.

Almost every communist screed or history I've ever read spends the first half denouncing capitalism, the rich, privileged, or whatever they call it. It's always about the revolution. They never seem to get around to fulfilling their utopian promises, except to enrich themselves.
Between the corruption, the third-worlders and the rock-solid stupidity of the American people; this country will not survive. I am spending less time at FR because I am sick of reading about those three topics.
Amen. Roughly once a year, an op-ed so absolutely epic comes along that I have to physically print it off and carry it with me so I can share it with three or four people I encounter capable of comprehending the scope of what is being said.

Law enforcement cannot always be peaceful, but that's step one -- enforcing the laws against illegal immigration, rioting, illegal political funding, illegal voting, etc.
The second step is change laws which "dam-up the swamp" to let it drain naturally.
So the "swamp" and its critters can be defeated, but not without effort or political cost.
And the domestic enemy will just sit quietly on its hands and do nothing? And the constant stream of fully indoctrinated people they’re pumping out of our institutions of “education” will, what?
The leftists and their media outlets excreted pious baloney every day in the last weeks leading up to the election, reminding us that the losing side must gracefully accept the results of an election, or else democracy as we know it will end.
Why are Democrats completely immune to irony, and to their own hypocrisy? They are doing in spades what they so piously lectured the world against. Have they no shame?

They only ever win because most conservatives have much better things to do with our lives than chase political careers.
We'd rather do most anything but politics and so by default we turn the political battlefield over to Leftists.
That's why they win.
But if we stand up & oppose them -- lawfully, peacefully, but forcefully -- we can beat them more often than not.

What folks either don’t know yet because they haven’t had reason to dig for it, or choose to ignore when they see/read/hear hints and indicators of it is...
The left is aligned with some serious organized criminal firepower.
The black left has the Black Guerilla Family lined up for when the shooting starts.
On the latino side La Raza has official and known alliances with both La eMe (Mexican Mafia) and 18th Street gang (together about 10k shooters) and a loose alliance with MS-13. These gangs also run the coyote business and are tied in with the cartels across the Mexican border and can bring large numbers of professional hitters across at will, at least until the wall is completed. And even then there’s the coastal routs.
Also, the left can count on support from resident jihadiscum for at least the short term.
I’m not saying there’s a hope in hell for them to win. I am saying it will be bloody though.
