Attorneys for one of the two suspects accused of raping a 14-year-old girl in a bathroom stall at Rockville High School said the girl texted their client the day before the incident and agreed to have sex with him, according to court papers filed Monday.
How the Hell can a text message convey permission to be gang banged in the school bathroom?
She can’t consent. She’s underage.
Unless he viewed it, he heard what he assumed was them having sex.
“Sounds like a case for Hillary. She actually has been successful at getting rapists acquitted.”
And laughing about it.
Also, I’m not aware of ‘consensual’ sex involving multiple partners in a school bathroom with horrible violent acts committed that drew blood etc.
Even if the actual text or pictures can’t be recovered, they should be able to easily determine if anything was sent by her to him on his welfare provided phone.
A 14-year-old cannot legally consent to having sex.
And now the father of the 18-year old has been rounded up by ICE: ICE arrests father of Rockville High School student rape suspect.

Wrong. Like most states, there are some situations in Maryland where people under the age of consent may legally have sex, as long as there is only a small age difference between them. In Maryland, persons aged between 14 and 16 may consent to sex as long as the other partner is not more than 4 years older.
When I was in 7th grade, staying late after school (when I lived in southern California for 2 1/2 yrs), a 7th grade girl asked me to go into the restroom with her to have sex.
(I chose not to). Our society has become a sewer. But still, that is no excuse for deliberately importing rats and cockroaches.
If she did consent to have sex with one, did she consent for both? Did she withdraw consent? If a girl agrees to have sex with one boy and two show up, it’s not as if she must now have sex with both.
Lord help this young person.
They are trying to smear her with the "She was a slut!" defense. Pray that her identity remains protected and that she has a chance at a decent life.

Someone on FR, with presumably much more knowledge of the law than I have, said recently that Maryland law says it is statutory rape only if the older participant is 4 or more years older than the other participant. It was stated that the older of these two animals is 3 years and some number of months older than 14.

I still remember a civics class back in grade school, probably mid-50s where crime and punishment was being discussed. That was when I first heard of the concept of rape as a capital crime where death was the punishment.
Now we dismissed rape as a date gone bad.
By the way, I heard on the Baltimore 11 o’clock news last night that the father of the 18-year-old had been arrested because he is an illegal.
