The main plaintiff in the Hawaii case blocking President Trumps revised temporary travel ban is an imam with ties to the Muslim Brotherhood.
The irony is hard to miss: Trump has talked about declaring the Muslim Brotherhood a terrorist organization, and now it is a Brotherhood-backed imam who is playing a key role in blocking his executive order on immigration.
Imam Ismail Elshikh, 39, leads the largest mosque in Hawaii and claims he is suffering irreparable harm from the presidents executive order, which places a 90-day ban on travel to the U.S. from six countries.

Lets see how Trump handles it.
Yes, not spontaneous event.
Well, since this imam claims to be suffering ‘irreparable harm’, I think he needs to be ‘accommodated’.

Trump should declare the MB a terrorist organization. In fact it is. We need to get the supporting evidence and nail them.
Wow great stuff, good post, thanks.Gotta wonder how the local Hawaiians embrace the mad muzzies and a mosque on every corner. Hard to imagine they are into that crap.
As we see 99% of the time, a writer uses “irony” when he means “coincidence”.
It's just that simple.
When they start "The Purge" I'm all in.
Keep your powder dry. And your weapons cleaned and oiled.
The Muslim Brotherhood members who started the Muslim Student Association in America also launched the North American Islamic Trust (NAIT) in 1971. The NAIT now holds title to hundreds of U.S. mosques and manages bank accounts for Muslim entities always in accordance with Islamic banking principles. And it was through the NAIT that the first Muslim financial trust was created. Today, its tentacles extend everywhere in the Muslim community.
“Once they (Muslim Brotherhood) are on the official terror list for the USA it will be a lot more feasible to fight back against scumbags like this guy”...............
WHY has trump delayed making such a call?
Thanks, I did not know the details of that.
Seems we have a general over-respect for judges, in general.
They’re imperfect sinners like all others, and in many cases worse than average. They are often affected negatively by their power and connections and status. And they all were lawyers first.
It may be time for the 60+ million voters for Trump to tell these insane states/cities, we will not be vacationing or holding meetings in Hawaii, Seattle, Gay Frisco, and _______________.
Nah! It is easier to blame Trump instead of supporting him. (Sarcasm?)
No, the support has grown since the election.
Example is a black friend who has helped my family for many years, I asked her what she thought about Trump’s incredible speech. She is very honest with me, knows me very well. She told me about she and her husband listening to the speech and both said same thing, they admitted they agreed with the speech and supported what he said he wanted to do.
Yes, it’s time for the public to tell the DC Criminals, it is finished.
If that makes you feel better, great ;)
IMO, a plaintiff in any jurisdiction cannot possibly have standing that is operative throughout the country. Especially in a district court.
I’m not a lawyer, but that makes sense to me.
I did not think the first case had a leg to stand on, but then it is the 9th Circus. That catastrophe will have to be dealt with.
There are ways.
Trump has the ball to do it.
Best regards my FRiend,
Dave K.
Hopefully, that will occur Real Soon Now!
Heh. Yeah. Not as if we’ve any other choice in the matter.
My gut tells me he’s mobilizing a legal response on the down low. We can only hope it’s an all-encompassing, touch-all-the-bases Grand Slam when it’s unveiled.
“A step down for the fighter who took the White house against all the odds.....”
It’s that, for real, or he’s got a really strong legal hand brewing behind the scenes; he’s either capitulating — which I just can’t feature him doing on this one — or he’s prepping some serious legal blowback, and it’s just taking time to pull that together.
