Peter Baker is the White House reporter for the New York Times.
Spicer declined Simendinger's request.
"No, I'm gonna— I understand," Spicer said. "I actually call the questions. Alexis, if you don't want to [ask] your question, I can call on somebody else."
"Could you call on the New York Times, please?" Simendinger said.
But Spicer moved on to another reporter.

Conservatives should no longer attempt to play nice with the media. They are like a den of snakes. It is impossible to be a friend of a snake, it will bite you if it has a chance.
Same as reporters and conservatives. They spend hours working on “gotcha’ question. So why make it easy on them.

I watched the news conference. Peter Baker got the first question...for The new budget director, Mulvaney. Mainly because the Slimes had reported Mulvaney’s 17-year old children as a triplet of girls.
Which was 33.3% correct....an improvement for the Slimes! Two of these girls are boys...though multi.-genderists might want to decide.
The NYT, CNN, WaPo, HuffPo etc. shouldn’t even have press passes, never mind get to ask questions.
It is about time that Spicer & others in the Trump Administration start treating their critics like children.....
President Trump needs someone who can put the globalist press-agents of the MSM/DEEP STATE COMPLEX in their place......Kellyanne Conway would have been what Spicer hasn’t been so far.....
Obviously there was collusion behind the scenes that’s not being admitted to. This had to have been planned, and the planning is the real story in this story.
