I retroactively withdraw my genuine support for GWB, and I did everything a good supporter always does: Make campaign contributions, sledge-hammered large campaign signs at intersections, helped get out the vote, protested the Goron FLA recount at protest rallies, etc.
President Trump is the POTUS I wanted GWB to be but wasn’t. After 8 years of Obama destroying this country, GWB had nothing to say. Now he can’t keep his mouth shut. Shut up, GWB, and by the way, your paintings wouldn’t make the cut at my local town arts and crafts fair.
Then he teamed with Ted Kennedy to wreck education and introduced a new prescription drug entitlement and (not counting endless war) focused primarily on forcing amnesty on us, fighting tooth and nail to get it, willfully sacrificing all the support of his base in the failed effort.
My judgement exceeded Rush's in this instance.

THis @sshat couldn’t say one kind word, of course he wasn’t asked either, about Trump. Bush knows how tough it is to be president, esp when you have the media on your back ten times worse than he ever had it.
He could easily have thrown a little support the guy’s way, ie “I think it’s terrible that he’s not getting his cabinet filled because of the democrats stalling tactics,” or “I think say what you will about Trump, he pulled off a spectacular campaign.” Or, “It’s a tough world out there, and the president should be giving the benefit of any doubt esp at the beginning.”
He could have said, the “Man did bring in a lot of people on his coat tails.” etc etc.
He says nothing, at any time about Obama pulling troops out of of Iraq. He says nothing about Obama’s people undermining Trump etc.
In short, this guy and his family are total losers, and good riddance of them. He’s barely above Jimmy Carter in my mind.
Former President Dumbass knew that the Kenyanesian Usurper was not eligible because he was not natural born citizen, but he wanted to open up the definition to benefit his nephew George Pedro Bush.
His refusal to secure the borders during wartime after the 9/11 attack and flooding the country with illegal aliens and refusing to remove them to force us into an amnesty was all the proof I needed that he was an enemy of the Republic and its citizens.
Unfortunately, I did not wake up to all of this until after I had voted for him twice.
