While Rex Tillerson is on his first overseas trip as Secretary of State, his aides laid off staff at the State Department on Thursday.

Much of seventh-floor staff, who work for the Deputy Secretary of State for Management and Resources and the Counselor offices, were told today that their services were no longer needed.

Remember, the "7th Floor" of the State Department was the 'SHADOW GOVERNMENT'.

The Agencies aren't necessarily the problem....it's operatives that targeted and moved into some key positions in every Agency ranging from Bureau of Indian Affairs to the IRS to the intelligence Agencies, DOD etc......

State Department was a small start but they are still infiltrated or infested depending on your view....

My wife worked on the 7th floor there less than a year ago, but moved across the street to an adjacent State Department office within her directorate. I spent eight terrible years in the Liberal Elite Echo Chamber Department of State in four different diplomatic postings. Conservatives are the enemy, the military the enemy, Christians the enemy - and if you fit all three as a reitred military person good luck. Back stabbing between friends and coworkers is so common place in that environment where every member of the foreign service spends their every moment engaged in calculations on how their next act will promote their career and advancement. State is Cesspool of hate and envy. I never worked for an Admin Officer who did not take personal perks out of the budget, bend rules for financial gain, unwarranted travel, or to advance their cronies at post. Serving is Israel was the best post posting, followed by Hong Kong and believe it or not Georgetown Guyana while dangerous and 4th world was doable... had my parachutist injury not finished me off in Rio de Janeiro, I might not have retired at Age 55 - but I am so glad to see T-Rex tear thru that concrete jungle.

If the Trump team or T-Rex contingent is reading, I would be glad to come back to DC and stay with my wife in Arlington to help drain the swamp at Foggy Bottem.
