Washington (CNN)Embattled White House national security adviser Michael Flynn resigned Monday night, two sources tell CNN. His departure came just after reports surfaced the Justice Department warned the Trump administration last month that Flynn misled administration officials regarding his communications with the Russian ambassador to the United States and was potentially vulnerable to blackmail by the Russians.

Or Flynn just fell on his sword to stop the media feeding frenzy. Or maybe a combination of Trump disappointed, Flynn stepping down.
I agree.
My advice to you is don’t let yourself be taken in by what the left and the establishment say. Losing Flynn is no big deal.
Flynn’s resignation has one effect—it confirms for us that the Trump Administration cares about integrity.
Barring the fact that Jeff Sessions just became AG, perhaps.
Yeah, it's not like this satisfies the howling MSM mob. It just whets their appetite.
Maybe they can find some spot for Flynn where he is working on the war against radical Islam but not dealing with Russia.
I heard some MSMer on tv solemnly intone about the risk of "possible blackmail" Flynn was exposed to because Russia knew about the conversation.
But they never cared about blackmail when Hillary had her private server compromised by at least five foreign intel agencies!
And they certainly never cared about blackmail when Barky was smirking and serving up his phony birth certificate!
My snap judgment is that Flynn should *NOT* have resigned.
We know that Monica Lewinski was beneath the desk in the Oval Office while President Billy Jefferson Clinton was speaking to foreign leaders.
We have got to learn to shrug things off...just like the leftwingers do.
There will be a feeding frenzy around this for weeks.
Thugs will riot in a handful of cities over this non-story.
And there won’t be a feeding frenzy over this. Better to get rid of him now than later.

I.m very sad to see that....Ted Kennedy went to Russia and actually tried to make a deal with them, and many Democrats including Kerry went to Central America to talk to Ortega and the Sandanistas during the Reagan administration
Sort of like not saying anything when a POTUS says to the Rooskie president - "tell Vlad I'll have more room to negotiate when I am re-elected"
CNN says SALLY YATES was behind ALL of this...leaking the FBI info about Flynn to the Post, and contacting the White House counsel.
That may be so, but my disappointment in 43’s behavior and those loyal to him hasn’t exactly supported our current president.
Cannot let the media gloat on this— like they were calling the shots all along- especially the Yates biotch. Right— she “warned” Trump about Flynn, even as she independently decided whether she would enforce the law— and didn’t and she herself was fired.
Number one— did he lie to Pence? Number two: there is a transcript of his phone call (Byron York), only hints at the sanctions being changed (and defused the Russian ramp up obamaumao was crapping all over Trump with- since obamaumao hates the US. Troops sent to Poland 7k of them— remember that). Number three: Flynn and McChrystal both fired by Obama— and for what? Being outstanding killer islamofascist fighters and spec0ps leaders— and obamuzzie in chief couldn’t have that and found the most ridiculous reason to let McChrystal go and eventually his junior- Flynn.
Trump had better find another true muzzie killer, because the muzzie brotherhood and obamaumao holdovers and the media are going to strip him naked with their g-d damned manipulation and beltway lies. This is chicken shit.
Because, if they monitored Flynn from DOJ, they surely must have monitored Hitlery— and DOJ is not done with Hitlery. They had better indict the biotch and round up all of her muzzie brotherhood friends still around.
After 8 years of Holder and Lynch, with Clinton handpicked lawyers staffing it, the DOJ is dirtier and more foul than a cesspool.
