Carly Fiorina is planning a political comeback.
The former 2016 Republican presidential candidate, who briefly became Sen. Ted Cruzs (R-Texas) vice presidential running mate before completely dropping out of the race, is eyeing a Senate seat in Virginia, she said in an interview.
Look, Im certainly looking at that opportunity, Fiorina told the John Fredericks Show in an interview this week.
Its a little early to be making that decision, were two weeks into a new administration, she added.
Fiorina, the former CEO of HP, ran for Senate in her home state of California in 2010, but failed to knock-off incumbent Sen. Barbara Boxer, a Democrat, in that election.
She later moved to Virginia before running for president in 2016.

“I live in VA. Either she or Laura would be an immediate upgrade from either of the two stooges we have now.”
Yes! I like both Laura Ingraham and Carly Fiorina. And almost ANYONE would be better than Timmy Kaine. Drunks rolled off the street would be better than Timmy.
Rafael will need a new VP.
Just stop. Why do these people CONSTANTLY have to run for office? Their entire lives are consumed about a thirst for political power.
GO START A DAMNED BUSINESS.
If Laura isn’t available. How about Carly running in California?
Wait, what?
will this woman please give it up,. Failed business woman. Failed wanna be politician.
Is this to stop Laura, so McCain etc can have another RINO?
Agreed although I would strongly prefer Laura.
Imagine being a failed business person. Now imagine having that many millions of $. Now would you just want to live out your life in luxury and doing things you love to do. I would be off fishing in a big boat. Travel the world, and do so much more.
These idiots just want power, just like Clinton who can;t give it up.
Carly,
Look, I appreciate you as a warrior for the right, but I really don’t think you are election material.. I truly don’t. VA will likely be kinder to you than Cali where there are too many who were personally impacted by your decisions at HP... but I really don’t think you are going to walk into a Senate seat ever..... Maybe you can find a friendly congressional district somewhere if you are adamant about trying to be elected to something that affects national policy, but I really, really don’t see how, other than perhaps the reddest of red states, that you are going to have a shot at a senate seat... and even then no guarantees
She lost her Senate run in CA. What the HELL makes her think she can win in VA.
Draft Newt.
Not at all, I just find Carly annoying. I don't think she could beat Cornyn, let alone Cruz.
If I lived in VA, I'd be hoping Dave Brat would run for Senate.
When will this shrill botoxed incompetent husk get off the political stage?
I second that motion and request unanimous consent.
Never. Next question.
Carly: “But...but..... it’s my DESTINY!!!” (as she falls off the stage)
Perhaps someone from Canada?
There is no surer path to riches in America than "public service."
If he were alive today, George McGovern would agree with me.
From Wiki: 1988, using the money he had earned from his speeches, the McGoverns bought, renovated, and began running a 150-room inn in Stratford, Connecticut, with the goal of providing a hotel, restaurant and public conference facility.[250][260] It went into bankruptcy in 1990 and closed the following year.[261]
In 1992, McGovern's published reflections on the experience appeared in Wall Street Journal and the Nation's Restaurant News.[260][262] He attributed part of the failure to the early 1990s recession, but also part to the cost of dealing with federal, state and local regulations that were passed with good intentions but made life difficult for small businesses, and to the cost of dealing with frivolous lawsuits.[260] McGovern wrote, "I ... wish that during the years I was in public office I had had this firsthand experience about the difficulties business people face every day. That knowledge would have made me a better U.S. senator and a more understanding presidential contender."
Can you say “carpetbagger”? I knew that you could.
I liked Carly. I never would have voted for her in the primaries because she was utterly unqualified to be President, but she was entertaining and gave good speeches. I particularly liked how she could go after Hillary and the lamestream media couldn't figure out how to claim she was being a misogynist.
But if she is serious about joining the ranks of professional politicians she really needs to actually win an election first. An open Congresscritter seat in a safe Republican district would be a much better chance. A state legislature seat would be more likely.
She needs to start out in an entry level job in the professional politician industry and work her way up.
