VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. — The Navy is investigating the display of a Donald Trump campaign flag by the lead vehicle in a military convoy.
The Virginian-Pilot reported Thursday (http://bit.ly/2jIH5HQ) the Navy has repeatedly warned sailors against appearing to endorse candidates while on the job.

I think the only correct answer will be “No sir, I did not display the Trump flag, and I certainly will not do it again”.

It was a SEAL Team 6 convoy.
SEAL Team 6 is Delta Force, operates at the direct discretion of the POTUS.
There are a few (very select few) military SEALS/Rangers/Green Berets that operate above Delta, I do not feel that these folks will receive more than a ‘public youshouldnthave’ and a private scotch and a cigar.

If the Navy does not approve of campaign flags then perhaps the POTUS should award CINC colors to every unit that wishes to display them

These are the only APPROVED NAVY FLAGS. 
What they know about military etiquette would fit in a thimble with room left for an elephant.
What’s to investigate? Was harm done? Was national security compromised? So a rule was broken or a procedure was violated. Write a reprimand to the unit in question, distribute it and circular file the original.
