President Trump will direct his secretary of homeland security to examine ways the administration can suspend grants to so-called "sanctuary cities," or areas where law enforcement agents do not enforce immigration laws, White House press secretary Sean Spicer said Wednesday.
"What the executive order does is, it directs the secretary to ... look at funding streams that are going to these cities ... and figure out how we can defund those streams," Spicer said of an executive action Trump was expected to sign later in the day.
Spicer dismissed suggestions that Trump would seek to deport children who were brought into the country illegally by their parents. Those individuals, known as "dreamers," are protected under an Obama administration executive order.
"His priority with respect to immigration is, first and foremost, making sure that people who are in the country who seek to do us harm" are removed, Spicer said.

In a sane world, this would be a valid concern. But they've learned from eight years of Obama that the easiest thing to do will be to blame Trump for both new or continuing woes anyway.
Bring back OPERATION WETBACK that President Eisenhower used in the 1950’s and was massively successful in getting rid of illegal aliens. Sending thousands of agents to the border and deporting over 100K illegals on ships to Veracruz (not just releasing them across the border) caused over a million more illegals to self deport quickly.
In addition to a renewed Operation Wetback, I’d charge them all with a felony, take fingerprints - headshot - iris scan (like we did in the Army in Afghanistan), and if they are caught here illegally again put them on a 1 year work detail building the wall. Also get rid of birthright citizenship for babies of illegals.

Rewarding criminal behavior encourages more criminal behavior. People cannot begin their careers in America by breaking the law. Further, it hurts minimum wage American workers by causing them to compete with millions of foreign workers. I am dismayed at those in Congress who lack the understanding of this critical issue to our nation.
I like most Americans are in favor of legal immigration for those who are willing to learn our language, culture, and invest the time and money required to become a U.S. citizen - but not for those who willfully break on our laws, spit on our country, demand benefits, and are not willing to go through proper channels to become an American citizen.
What is the solution? It won’t be easy because we didn’t get into this situation overnight. I believe we need to do the following immediately:
1) Secure our borders
2) Enforce existing law
3) Not allow any amnesty provisions of any kind
4) Improve our visa system
5) Prosecute and fine those businesses which knowingly employ illegal workers
6) Give law enforcement officials the necessary resources and authority to combat illegal immigration
7) Deport illegal aliens violating the law after being fingerprinted, photographed, iris scanned, charged with a felony, and their information placed in a national database.
8) Send a bill for deportation/prison costs to the embassy of the illegal immigrant’s national origin.
9) 2nd time and thereafter repeat offenses by illegal aliens should be sent to work prison camps for a maximum of 6 months - building the southern fence/wall.
10) Seize and liquidate all assets from illegal aliens and use the proceeds for our military and local law enforcement.
11) Must not give illegal immigrants government welfare benefits of any kind, including Social Security
12) Designate English as our national language
13) Change the 14th Amendment regarding birthright citizenship for the children of illegal immigrants
14) Mandatory proof of citizenship for voting
15) Mandatory proof of legal status for DL or ANY government issued ID or benefits card
16) Put pressure on the Mexican government and other nations to reduce illegal immigration to America.
17) Encourage only legal immigration and citizenship to for those wanting to become Americans.
These ENFORCED changes would strengthen America greatly.
Surely it is a felony to protect illegal aliens. Arrest the University President and staff who support this violation of law.
Then Trump needs to send crayons to the students so they can cope with the stress of it all.
Ditto the mayors, the governors...... Draining the swamp is going to be far easier than FREEPERS immagined. These liberal psycho traitors will be coming out of the woodwork to be arrested.
If the traitors want to take it out on the police, I'm sure millions of us ex-military types would be glad to help restore order as these scumbags loose their cool.

Today, Trump also started his frontal assault on voter fraud. It will be investigated!! I believe this should be coupled with illegal immigration. To wit: you commit voter frraud, even ONCE, and you go to the head of the deportation line. Not only you, but your immediate family as well, regardless of age.

Most likely the parents speak Spanish at home with the two kids, the kids probably know Spanish at least as well as they know English. Most native born Americans under forty don’t really speak English any longer, almost none I know could pass my eighth grade English final and that includes many on FR.
